I'm never really that excited when school starts again because I have to see these old teachers that hate their life and make it our problem. I mean don't get me wrong I like to learn, it keeps me busy, and sometimes it can be interesting. It's just that the teachers bother me, the men look like old pervs and the women are either fat and smell like cheap perfume or just dramatic for no reason. I just try to stay out of trouble so they won't nag at me.

The ride to school was just a vague memory of all the streets I used to walk with my friends to get snacks from the liquor store. I texted my friends that I was on my way. I got dropped off at school, I say goodbye to my mom and wait at the gates. The smell of morning fog reaches my nose.
"yep, we're at school, here we go again."
My friends text me back saying to meet them at the cafeteria.
I walk past the friend groups that are hugging each other and asking how they have been or saying, "Why the fuck didn't you text me back!?" I passed by a few friends or you can say people I consider, but not friends. We say our hellos and I continue to walk to the cafeteria. I walk in to smell the school's crusty, musty, dusty, disgusting ass food. My nose is hella sensitive so I end up covering my nose.
At the end of the cafeteria, I hear someone call out,
"YO OVER HERE!"
It's my friends Devin, Erica, and Jhonathan. I walk up to them with a big smile on my face.
"What's up!"
"nothin much nothin much just chillin waiting for you to get here," Devin said while eating the nasty cinnamon bun.
I looked at him in disgust and said,
"Are you eating that?"
He looked at me and said,
"You know it's not so bad if you give it a try sometime."
Jonathan joined in and said,
"It's not that bad, I mean the bread might be a little dry but the cream that is over poured on it makes up for the dryness."
I looked at both of them,
"you dogs eat anything"
"Hey!" They both looked at me with their ears back and flustered.
Erica laughed at the situation,
"I mean he's not wrong you dogs do eat everything"
She laughed and continued to text on her phone.
"Erica for someone who always on their phone sure doesn't text any of us back", said Jonathan
"I don't have time for you losers", she laughed as we all gave her a dirty look.
"Oh come on you know I don't mean it, I was just joking"
