The Richman (Book 2) - Jealous

Ben sat facing his laptop even though it was too over midnight.  Meanwhile, Leah had just put baby Sheina to a bed. That cute baby girl had lived with them for a few days but was very fussy. Maybe because babies also need to adjust to a new environment.

Leah's eye bags began to show and the dark circles in her eyes also became more obvious. Leah, who was originally quite fashionable, now wears t-shirts and trousers more often with her hair rolled up. She didn't even have time to take care of herself after the presence of baby Sheina in the house.

"Hey ..." She greeted Ben after sitting on the sofa in a half reclined position because she was so exhausted.

"You look so pathetic," said Ben.

"Very," Leah replied.

"Maybe we should pay a babysitter dear, don't push yourself if you can't." Ben looked away from his laptop and turned to Leah, but his wife had fallen asleep on the couch.
