Enlightenment

"How does one reache enlightenment? To be completely honest, I don't know. But what I do know is that I have died. Even past my death, my memories are still retained.

Dying by getting shattered to hundreds of pieces didn't felt that bad, it actually felt pretty peaceful. No pain, just the silence that greets you after." and so I lied down while I kept rambling in my own thoughts.

. . .

"I know this place is soothing and all that but.. isn't there someone or something else that was supposed to greet me here?" but of course, my thoughts were answered right away by a white figure that suddenly appeared behind me.

"So how did you die this early?"

I get up to greet them before telling them how I managed to die.

"Wow, you can't be serious. You told the guy to kill you?"

I nodded as I said yes.

"I heard a piece of information that led me to this decision. Something about a new body?"

The white figure, despite having no facial expression, looks stunned at what I just said.

"That's only supposed to happen after a few decades, isn't it. Interesting, how did you get this information?" the white figure asked very intriguingly.

I didn't want to tell him, saying that it was classified between him and the info leaker. "So why don't we just start these trials already. That way, things will be even more interesting, don't you think so too?"

"Fine then, we'll play by your own game. But don't blame me if you fail, it would've been easier if you didn't die this early on"

After we finished exchanging words, a massive gate with ancient carvings manifests itself behind me, slowly opening itself after fully manifesting itself.

"Alright, don't disappoint now."

"Huh, wait I suddenly don't feel like going i-."

"Toodle-oo."

"Nooooo."

I was dragged towards the gate by an unknown force as I was screaming helplessly.
