I finally found you

"The masters are going to be so angry with me," I wanted to hold my head but the chains held my hands.

"Do you mind freeing me from these?" I showed her the chains.

'No you look nice tied up like that, maybe Dante can take you just the way you are right now.'

"Are you freaking kidding me?"

Rolling my eyes I tried to move around to make myself comfortable on the floor. But it didn't work.

"So did Talberon rape me that night?"

She silently looked at me. Her silence was all I needed. I pulled the chains again. I shivered as the rage built inside of me. "I am not some weak girl that they can take advantage of! You either help me now or I won't let you out!"

'That's a cute threat but it won't work on me.'

I stood up and pulled the chains so hard, that the bedposts began to break. My wrists ached, but these stupid chains didn't want to break. I scoffed and walked backward until I hit a wall behind me. My dark side snickered and I glared at her.

"This is not funny, I'm here upset that they touched my body and you're up there laughing. I swear I'm going to kill them right now!"

'Serah dear, you alone are all talk but no bite.'

I growled at her, "that's not true!"

"Now now stop teasing the poor girl." A deeper voice spoke.

I jumped away only to find that the supposed wall was Dante except something was different about him. My dark side smirked but remained where she was hovering in the air.

Dante's eyes were golden in color. I knew he and I had the same darkness but I didn't expect him to have another side. I cautiously stepped back to the bed away from him.

"You know little lambs, you both caused quite a stir up there. And congratulations on almost killing that witch." He clapped his hands and turned to my Darkside. A look of hunger raged in this Dante.

"Where's Dante?"

I questioned him. I knew the risks of having my dark side take control. It took my strength and power.

His dark side came forward and looked me up and down. "I can see why he takes a liking to you." He mumbled with a smirk.

"Now if you could please allow her to take over you, I would appreciate it."

What?

"I asked you a question. And I won't allow her to take over right now." I shook my head.

My dark side chuckled, 'oh I see what you want.' She floated down to him and put her shadowy hands around his neck.

"Allow her to take over and I'll send you to Dante," he leaned closer to my dark side.

"Unless," while he held onto my Darkside he brought his hand forward to graze my cheek, "you would like to also join us?" His eyes darkened.

I jumped onto the bed and speeded to the other side of the bed. Somehow my dark side and Dante's seemed much more dangerous together. And this side of him felt much worse. I didn't make it far cause the chains held me.

"Okay fine, I'll swap with her." Being alone with Dante was bad so how worse could his dark side be?

'Damn, never expected for you to give yourself up to me so soon.' My Darkside chuckled.

"I'm not, I'm just... I think maybe I might need a break and he can give you what you want."

I close my eyes and I felt my dark side inside of me. I then glanced around to find us inside our domain. Our dark world.

"So I'm not sure how long this is going to take, but please, I want my body intact and not broken." Pleading with her, I shrunk the chains on her wrist.

'No promises but have some fun with Dante in his domain. Besides all of this revenge and plotting must have stressed you out. So thank me later.'

She winked and grabbed me through the glass as we swapped places. Instead of landing on her side of the mirror, in her domain. I ended up falling from the sky.

Holy shit I'm falling from the sky!

And this place isn't my domain!

Everywhere I looked there were stars and galaxies. And I didn't have any wings to fly, so I summoned my darkness to help me hover. But they didn't listen to me!

This is bad, really bad. I was going to crash and die in this place and my Darkside will take over and rule my body... you know that didn't sound such a bad idea.

Come on please, darkness, you're supposed to be my friend!

No matter how much power I used, it was the first time my darkness disappeared from me as I tried to use it without my dark side controlling it.

I was falling faster down to the unknown, to a domain I have no control over. If this domain is stronger than mine, then I'll have to try and use my light. I just got to hope I don't die in the process of using so much power.

Closing my eyes, I thought of all the good stuff that happened. Happy thoughts like faerie dust, anything to summon my light cause it was impossible to do it in reality so surely it might work in a domain?

I felt it rise within me. It was different compared to the darkness. It felt like clouds and the breeze. It felt like the sun.

The orb of light shone brightly as I opened my eyes. But instead of protecting me from falling. The orb grew in size as it began to engulf me. My black dress had begun to eat away by the light as it transformed my clothes into a beautiful sequined white dress that glittered with stars. The white orb surrounded me but it didn't feel as though I was slowing down.

It felt as though I was falling faster to my doom! This dress felt heavier on me. It wasn't the kind of thing I wore. This is supposed to be Dante's domain. So he controls this domain. Then where is he?

I'm going to die here if I can't control anything. My Darkside will then have a wonderful time and a wonderful life. The giant white orb began to dissipate and I gasped as the light from the sky hit my eyes and I braced myself.

Comets were spiraling through the night sky past me. It was shooting past me very dangerously... Its hot mass of destruction almost burnt me alive. I shut my eyes in hopes of getting saved from a dying star.

And when I closed my eyes, I saw the memories of that couple that I always dreamt of.

"Will we ever find our way Lunaria? Will I drown in the sorrow of leaving all of this behind?" He grabbed her hands, entwining them with his. She moved forward and put her forehead against his.

"Maybe in another life," she whispered, "The heavens won't help us, and the realms are being destroyed. And I want what we have to last forever. If we can't be together in this life, then I will keep finding you Erebus in the next life." She kissed him one last time as a tear slid from her eyes.

The vision was so quick, like the blink of an eye, and as swift as a voice in the wind. I became troubled while falling through the sky for I have never seen a vision of them while I was awake until now. The wind picked up behind me and the comet was still hurling toward me. I gasped as it came closer but all of a sudden before making contact with me.

It shattered into a million pieces of debris. A pair of hands lifted me. One hand is on my back while the other is under my legs. Black feathers drifted in front of my sight as dark shadows swirled around us. A large contrast to the whites of my dress.

But when I glanced at my savior, I had to catch my breath. He had long layered black hair that was spiky from below his chin and flowed behind him. He wore the darkness like a fitted glove around his shoulders to his fingertips. His chest and abs were on display. He also had black loose cargo pants that had a cloak-like skirt attached to the back of his pants with combat boots.

But what caught my eye first were the ancient tribal tattoos that were carved on his skin. It spread on his torso to the bottom of his abdomen and behind his back like a snake. I couldn't see the writing that was on his skin. At the sound of flapping, I glanced at his wings. He bloody had giant obsidian wings that appeared soft to the touch.

I glanced up at him, his grey-white eyes shone with emotions. My lips quivered as my hands trembled. I threw my arms around his neck holding onto him as tears flowed freely.

"You... saved... me," I stammered for I couldn't contain myself. He was there for me. He saved me from every hurdle since I had returned to Iracundia. I haven't even done anything to repay him.

He snaked his arms around me pulling me closer to his body. His face was buried near my neck. Dante whispered, "I finally found you."
