"Let me guess…its late and you don't want to wake up Arlo with the creaky door?", you ask, "I should probably get that fixed…"
"No…actually I can't sleep.", responds Anne, "Arlo's snoring is keeping me up. You can almost hear it from here."
"Oh…well isn't this a case where that creaky door would come in handy…since he is a light sleeper?", you reply.
Anne frowns, "I lied about that…the door doesn't really creek that much…and Arlo…he isn't a light sleeper. He is a heavy one. I made as much noise as I could…the loaf is still fast asleep. I almost considered breaking down the door…or perhaps starting a small fire."
Your eyes widen a little.
"It wouldn't have been a big fire…just enough to smoke him out.", says Anne.
You laugh, "That doesn't sound like a good idea…"
Anne nods, "Yeah…hey mind if I come in?"
You open the door and Anne walks inside your room. You follow.
