"Meet Mr. Baek Yoonho. S-Rank and the Guild Leader of the White Tiger Guild."

"Hello." A muscular young man with spiky orange hair, orange eyes, pronounced canine teeth, and neatly trimmed sideburns said to Byeol.

"Hello. My name is Go Byeol."

Go Gun Hee then kept speaking after introducing Yoonho to his son.

"Mr. Baek has a transformation skill that turns his body into that of a Beast. I have booked a C-Rank Gate for both of you. Mr. Baek, please show the ropes for today to my son."

"Of course, sir." Yoonho accepted his request and both of them left for the gate.

They made some small talk in the car, waiting to reach their destination. After 15 minutes, the car arrived in front of a small park. The park was sealed off to prevent civilians from entering the gate that was in the park.

Both of them got out of the car and walked over to the gate. Beside the gate were many carts full of armour and weapons.

"Mr. Go has informed me that we can do whatever we want with this gate. None of the stones will be harvested or the corpses will be sold. This gate will be entirely for your practice. Please pick an armour that would suit you. They have customised for your wings."

"What about you?"

"S-Ranks don't usually need armour to clear any gates under B-Rank. You should wear one for the first time."

Byeol nodded and picked up a set of yellow coloured Armor and placed it on his body. But suddenly he got angry for no reason and ripped the Armor apart.

"What happened?!" Yoonho asked Byeol, worried something might have happened to him.

"I don't know. But it just felt so WRONG wearing that Armor. I don't know why."

Yoonho became confused and asked him if needed a weapon. Byeol shook his head and opened his palm. A bright light shot out of his hand and formed a sword. The sword didn't have a solid form and seemed to always change shape like the fire that was being released from the sword.

"Ok. Let's go." Yoonho declared as he loosened his necktie and removed his coat.

After passing through the gate, the environment changed entirely. The park had turned into a dark cavernous region. The two S-Ranks could hear the breaths and movements of many monsters from their location.

"Do you need any help seeing in the dark?" Yoonho asked Byeol.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"What?"

"What do you mean by "seeing in the dark"? It's completely lit."

"Huh? But there isn't even a single source of light except your wings and your… eyes. I think it is a skill of yours. Night Vision."

Byeol blinked a few times and looked around.

"Do you have any kind of paper?"

"No. Why?"

"Well you should write down your skills on something so that it will be easier to review them later on. I have one on me. Take it."

Byeol thanked Yoonho and took the notepad and the pen that was attached to it. He wrote down "night vision. Fire sword. Wings" on it and placed it inside his pant's pockets.

"So what should I do now? Don't you have a problem in the dark?"

"No. These eyes of mine help me see in the dark. Let's advance, you need to fight some monsters to know your fighting capabilities."

"Hmm." Both of them advanced. Suddenly Yoonho felt something approaching towards them, specifically Byeol. He was about to inform him when suddenly he saw a blur that was Byeol's arm moving towards the monster. The monster immediately got removed from existence.

"... What was that?"

"... I don't know. My instincts told me to move my sword towards that direction."

'It was fast. Extremely fast. I couldn't even see anything more than a blur even with my 'Eyes of the Beast'.'

"Write down "Enhanced senses and Instincts". We need to do some tests on your speed."

"Yes." Byeol wrote those down and asked him what he should do next.

"We've walked almost a few hundred metres from the gate. Can you go to the gate and come back as fast as you can?"

"Hmm." Byeol replied and bent forward, taking a running stance. Another monster tried to ambush him but Yoonho turned it into mush with a single punch.

Byeol compressed his legs to the limit. Cracks started forming on the ground as he pushed down on it. Then he released all that pressure. He was flung forward and ran towards the gate.

After a few seconds he returned back. Yoonho saw his speed and thought to himself, 'Slower than me. But what about those wings?'

"Why don't you use your wings?"

Byeol looked back at his wings. The four sets of wings that were always there at his beck and call. He nodded his head and prepared himself again, this time with his wings unfurled. He moved the wings independently to warm them up.

Completely prepared, he bent down. Yoonho activated his 'Eyes of the Beast' at full power, intending to observe the full speed of Byeol.

Byeol gave out a long breath and waved his wings once. Suddenly he disappeared from his place and reappeared back again. Immediately within a second, two extremely loud booming sounds were heard and many shockwaves originated from his location.

Byeol looked around with wide eyes until he saw Yoonho, who was also looking wide eyed towards him. Yoonho's eyes gave out a bright orange light and had a cat-like pupil.

'That level of speed and reaction speed to control the body at those speeds.`He then looked towards Byeol and thought, 'he is special even for an S-Ranker.'

"Write down "Enhanced reflexes and Super speed." Let's go."

Both of them kept on walking until they reached a large area filled to the brim with wolf type monsters.

"Can you take care of all of them?"

"... Yes. I think so."

"Good. Go ahead."

Byeol walked forward and unfurled his wings. All the monsters looked towards him and became ready to attack. The monsters ran towards him with their mouths open, ready to bite into him and rip him apart.

But every single monster that entered a two metre radius of his body disappeared. Most of the monsters didn't mind it much and kept on trying to overwhelm Byeol with their numbers, but no matter how many of them attacked him all of them were obliterated.

After every single one of them were killed, Yoonho walked up to him and asked him. "How hot is that sword?"

"I don't know. But the monsters seem to disintegrate the moment they make contact with my sword."

"Hmm. Let me see it once." Saying this Yoonho touched the sword but he became confused.

"This is not hot at all! It's like a completely normal temperature… Try to place it on the ground."

Byeol followed and placed the tip of the sword on the ground. Nothing happened.

"Now try to cut the ground."

Immediately a huge amount of rocks surrounding the sword vaporised leaving Yoonho speechless.
