Death to the murderers part 2

Eventually i found their main camp near the Sea. It's seems they made some sort of temporary dockyard, unknowns to the northerners. And it does looks like A perfect location for a large port. What was this place called again? Ahh yes the Stony shores.

Anyway.. If invested correctly then this place could become a big trading hub just like the city of Novigrad. But the question is why nobody used this potential landscape in the beginning?

Well, maybe there is not enough population depends on it or uses this route to do business with central lands?

Thus without proper defense these pirate Lords or commonly known as Ironborns have the chance to exploit it's resources without alarming the local authority.

Anyway ... she came here for only one objective. And that is to annihilate these scum's that committed horrible crimes against those poor innocent people.

Yennefer watched their camp from little distance though not much the strike range of her annihilation spell.

The entire ironborn camp seems like it's being dissembling. Hmm...So they have already taken what they needed. And maybe making preparation to leave. Why? hmm... maybe the recent group that she killed alarmed them ? No that is not in the realm of possibility.

It doesn't matter they are going to die in horrible fashion.

I started to prepare large scale fire spell that might destroy a huge part of the camp at this distance. Maybe I should spare the important looking tent for it may contain some important people and objects.

She noticed the one Ironborn she let escape earlier seems like currently entered the maincamp to inform his superiors. She knew what the informer is going to tell.

But before they could do something for their defense against the sorceress. She launched her massive fireball of pure chaos at the Ironborn camp. The enormous spell destroyed everything in it's path, And the flame started to devour the entire temporary settlement. And the cries of men burning to their deaths.

It's the second time she laid waste to enemy soldiers.

She was surprised by the pure destruction it caused. She learned that the very landscape itself is aiding her. This land has plenty of magic in the air. And for some unknown reason binding the chaos at her will is not taking much toll on her.

Or else the spell i used a moment ago would caused me enough exhaustion, That it would make me unable to walk or escape from a dangerous situation as this.

I feel like my powers have grown significantly after coming to this ice and snowy Land called The North.

One of the seven kingdoms in this continent named westeros.

I could feel that I'm am currently Ten times stronger than before. I let out the heavy sigh I was holding. If only I was this much strong in my own world. Then I could have easily faced against the Wildhunt without any reserve and saved everyone.

I walked in to devastated burning camps and used my lightning spell to put down the remaining survivors that wanted to or needed to put out of their misery's. And lastly the earth magic to put down the fire before it spread anywhere else.

Though those that stayed close to the Sea jumped in to it and immediately get to ships.

Oh.... it's seems there are few survivors assembled at the whatever remains of main tent of their leader.

It's seems they are ready for a fight as well ,but that's not the case because I force choked their leader in front of them. And that killed their any form of plan to attack me.

All I could see is fear in their eyes, some dropped their weapons and started to beg for mercy. She reassured them that no harm will come if they leave immediately and board the the ships and never to return ever.

All of them took her offer and started swimming.

Only a brave or a stupid one remained, And she looked at ironborn boy. He picked up the sword from his master's corpse. And put it in his belt and immediately started running for the Sea.

So I stopped the boy, and he did. But it seems he might faint any moment. it seems that sword have a good deal of importance.

The boy stopped in his track but cowering in fear.

"That's an interesting sword you've got there. boy." I began, nodding towards his waist.

Grynden pyke looked at it and briefly considered evading the unspoken question or perhaps even drawing his blade and killing the sorceress here and now. But considering the fate of his companions and what have already befall on them. He understands that death is waiting.

One could argue that violating the mercy of this demonic woman could end him very very badly. Magic is known to be gone from the land at least hundreds of years if counted the dragons.

So watching it with his own eyes and how useless a common man against a person who carries the weapon of the gods.

And a attempt to slaying her would be the same, And doing so would surely doom him at her hand. And given how confident the sorceress was, there may be magic at play that would prevent him from succeeding anyway.

So what should a clever bastards do to survive? The answer is act clever.

"Red Reigns, once the blade of a extinct house in the westerland my lady. And house Drumm claimed it few hundred years ago. And scenes then it is a symbol of their house. " His father's house though he did not said it loud.

"Mind letting me take a closer look at it?" The sorceress asked politely. One might mistake seeing her smile like this, But Gryndens instinct knows that underneath it has very cruel demon.

But still That was a perfect opportunity to escape from this cursed land.

"You have not seen Valyrian steel before my lady?" He asked, unbuckling his sword and handing it over her.

"No." She said absently, drawing the blade from its sheath. "Interesting work. meteorite steel ripples? Odd. Foldings a lot of foldings. Spellforging. human sacrifice, Dragonfire..."

Grynden listened to the Woman's mutters with interest. If this was her first time seeing Valyrian steel, then she couldn't have been in the Doom as there was surely plenty of it there. Where did she come from then?, and where did she gain this knowledge of the higher mysteries? He looked sorceress and at the Sea then at her again.

" You don't mind if I keep it, do you?" She asked.

"of course not, you can keep it my lady, My apologies my lady I think companions are waiting, and.... if you don't mind may take my leave?" she took the sword and vanished the thing in thin air. And gave him the permission to leave.

He let out the breath he was holding all this time. The sword was a priceless item but one's own life is much more valuable. So it's small price to pay to save his life.

I need to return to the iron island and warn the lords about the danger the north present.

To Grynden that witch reminded him of the brother of Lord greyjoy, At the very least she gave the similar vibe as Euron . I'm very they somehow got blessings from the gods.

Grynden one's heard that Euron greyjoy can also use magic. But the truth remains a mystery.
