The super short version: God of War -> Danmachi
It’s cold, colder than usual. Midgard is plagued with the precursor to Ragnorok, the decimation of all nine realms: Fimbulwinter. Set off by the death of a certain Norse god, the lake of nine is beginning to freeze over, and blizzards are becoming a daily occurrence. Though a certain trio of gods has more pressing matters to concern themselves with.
Kratos, the murderer of the previously mentioned Norse god and a god of a different pantheon himself, travels with his son, Atreus, another god that may just be a more important god than the rest, and Mimir, a Celtic Faerie a long way from home and blessed with more knowledge than he knows what to do with.
The father and son duo have just completed their long journey to Jotunheim, the realm of the giants. After such a perilous journey across Midgard and almost every other realm, they find themselves missing home, at least the grumpy old father does. And so, they travel to their home, a small shack hidden away in the cold forest. All seems well, until a certain man shows up, interrupting their rest time before it even begins.
A battle commences… A ferocious battle between two of the strongest men any pantheon has ever encountered…
Who knew a battle could throw one into another dimension?
Maybe we should ask a certain giant snake about that…

Kratos has been like a father figure that I never had when growing up, and that may or may not be why I have anger issues. I'm trying to become a professional writer that can actually publish books, but I've only just begun my writing journey, so fan-fics are good practice for me. -Writing Quality: I haven't seen any mistakes as of now. -Stability of Updates: The updates so far have been good. -Story Development: Nothing much has happened yet. -Character Design: The character design is AMAZING. It is so amazing that it had to be in all caps. Atreus's curious personality and Kratos's cautious one plus Mimir's comedy provide for an amazing Character design. All of this plus they keep their original attitudes so this is a five from me. -World Background: The author did a good job of establishing the world so five stars from me. -Overall: AMAZING bookman keep up the good work man! Finally, something I rarely see here, and so far, I'm enjoying it. Just promise me this. Many people fail to fulfill their promises, but I hope you do. Please don't give up and continue to work on this; you can take a break if you want, but don't drop.
Bro he is too weak to be a god I thought he was holding back but suddenly he says he got stronger but he is fighting Minotaur's like bruh I though you could fight gods but you are struggling on floor 15 when adventurers are on like level 50 of the dungeon how is he going to fight gods?!

This is easily one of the best fan fictions I've ever read and you can tell that this was written by an ACTUAL fan of the source material. It's obvious that this person has done their research and combined with this amazing writing style and writing talent in general makes this a must read if quality is what you're looking for.
I absolutely loved everything about this story, you get full marks from me. I especially love how you portrayed kratos, atreus, and mimir correctly. I especially love how you have kratos actually opening up about his past at the proper pace considering his personality and stubbornness. So many stories either neglect his past and botch his character, or they get his character right, but they make him blab about his past for stupid reasons and make him seem less haunted then he truly is. You are the first story about god of war that got all this spot on. 50/10 best story. Plus you showed his strength properly. So many have flawed thinking and make him weaker then he is supposed to be. Plus they always add some type of oc villain just so they can make his life harder when they don't need to. It annoys me, especially if they put him in a world like dark souls or remnant from rwby. You are not doing that, especially cause you have the current gods and their superpower children to do so.
ok so hear me out writing quality: amazing, the quality is perfect, its easy to understand and flows well 5 stars stability of update: tell you what, the story update stability is once for 2-3 days, it deserves 4 stars but I simp for this story so Ill give 5 lol story development: the story develops well and is very interesting, the development doesn't feel forced or flawed in any way 5 stars character design: there aren't OC's yet (chapter 22) but all the characters are acting as you would expect from their cannon source, they talk feel, and act according to their past and new experiences in the book 5 stars world background: ...its Danmachi, the author does good in opening the world to the main characters, and I hope to see original things from it 5 stars
