"Emery, so tell me, what is really bothering you? You don't look happy" Mrs Kara Dylan who apparently is Dave's mother asked Emery who looked shattered on the floor of the large stairs.

Emery looked at Kara, and from her looks, her eyes were swollen which means she has been crying

"Ok, if you don't want to talk, tell Dave I came for a visit" saying that she left Emery all alone

Getting home, Tania was damn exhausted. She didn't find Mimi and Ben at home. Going to her room, she took a quick shower. After bathing, she went to the kitchen to sip a fruit juice. She picked up her phone and called Mimi

"Hello babe, where are you" Tania asked sipping her juice.

"Am with Ben, I took him out to get ice cream, Ben wanna say hi to mama?" Mimi replied and gave the phone to Ben. After the call she dropped her phone to take another fruit juice when her phone beeped. She checked and saw it was a message from her boss saying

'Please Tan, can we have a date tonight, we have something to discuss' Tania smiled at her phone

"Yes" she exclaimed to herself. Her wish was finally coming to reality.

She replied trying to hold her excitement

'Don't you think its too sudden, I guess you must be exhausted now'

She took a sip again smiling, waiting for a reply.

This time around, Dave put a call across to her

Seeing it was Dave, her stomach was filled with butterflies. She tried to control her emotions as she picked the call so she wouldn't look desperate.

"Hello sir" she greeted first.

"Hey Tan" she smiled and said to herself 'romantic, he has never addressed me like that before

"I was thinking sir that you'll be very exhausted after the party" she said

"You're very correct Tan, you're so smart, but then I still want to have a special time with you" He said to her.

"That'll be very nice, but am still exhausted, how about tomorrow" Tania said still trying to comport herself

"Alright then, tomorrow is a deal" he replied her

"Not too fast sir, time and venue"

"Royal blue five star hotel, 6:00 pm in the evening"

"Deal sir"

"Night night, sleep well"

After ending the call, Tania jumped up in excitement. "I gat it, I gat it, I gat it"

After the call, Dave didn't know Emery has been listening to his conversation with Tania.

"Royal blue five star hotel, you said, am sure you're going there with a lady" Emery asked him angry.

"Were you actually eavesdropping? I bet you weren't trained properly"

Dave asked annoyed

"You son of a bitch, the only reason am keeping quiet is because your mother has been nice to me. You characterless cheat" she replied back angry

Dave's eyes turned red as he walked towards Emery.

"Its very obvious you are raving mad" he said as he gave her a slap that landed her on the floor, wanting to hit her again, she threatened to call the cops in a teary tone.

He walked away asking her to dare him next time.

Getting to the room, he shut the door angrily.

Back at Tania's house, she was lying on the couch with a big smile on her face. Just then, Mimi and Ben walked in but Tania didn't even notice them as she was lost in her fantasy.

"Hey mom" Ben ran to meet her giving her a pet on the cheeks

"Oh, hey son, am sorry I didn't notice your presence." She replied back.

"Hey mom look, aunt got me some stuffs" Ben said showing her

"Wow, did you tell her thank you" Tania asked being a caring mom

"Yes mom, she's so sweet" Ben replied smiling at Mimi.

"Alright, you go upstairs and freshen up then you come to the dining to eat"

Ben ran up shouting 'ok mom'

Mimi sat close to her friend giving her a funny look

"So, are you ready to tell me the secret now or I tickle life outta you"

"Crazy you Mimi" Tania replied her eyes showing her happiness

"The last time I saw you this happy was six years ago, so will you tell me Tan?

" Alright I'll tell you" Tania replied giving up.

"Guess what?"

"Um, you were awarded at the party?" Mimi asked guessing

"Actually, no one was awarded, try again" Tania replied giving her friend a smile

"Please I can't, just tell me the good news" Mimi said smiling at her friend.

"Alright, so, am going on a date tomorrow" Tania said smiling. "Are you kidding me?" Mimi asked as she gave Tania a little punch on her shoulder

"So who's the lucky man?" Mimi asked her friend.

"Dave Dylan of course" Tania replied still smiling.

"Sorry, you mean Dave Dylan your boss that always step on your nerves?" Mimi asked further surprised. Was he the reason for her friend's sudden happiness?

"Awwwwww, he's no longer rude, he's so sweet" Tania replied

"Wait, is there something am missing?" Mimi asked again

"The only thing you're missing now girl, is helping your girl get a nice dress for the date"
