Even though he knew better than to hold back, Rayzen was unable to instantly come up with the resolve to kill.

Nonetheless, his two tomoe Sharingan was activated. The red eyes scanned the movements of the approaching boar masked Root nin while looking out for the sneak attacks of the cat masked Root nin.

He was able to easily predict the movement of the boar masked nin, as he blocked his tantō with his kunai and his kick with one of his own. Sensing the approaching volley of senbons under his Sharingan, he disappeared from where he was standing.

' Body Flicker Jutsu '

Although the boar masked nin thought that Rayzen would have no where else to move and as such was unprepared for the volley of senbons that was now approaching him, the Root training was for naught!

His sharp senses allowed him to vanish from his spot as well, with the senbons now peircing the piece of wood that was now in his place.

' Substitution Jutsu '

Rayzen, who seemed to have teleported to the side before the senbon striked him, saw that the guy used Substitution Jutsu with only a single hand-seal. And he couldn't detect the position of the other nin using his Sharingan, since that nin had made good use of the environment to hide himself from Rayzen's eye.

He didn't want to waste his time on a long drawn out battle by limiting himself too much. So he planned to release a part of his strength.

He predicted where the boar masked nin would move after using the jutsu and approached him from his blind-spot in that exact position using 'Body Flicker Jutsu'. Without waiting for a second he slapped the tantō wielding hand of the boar masked nin.

Under the impact of his slap and an inexplicable force, the tantō flew off and the bones in his right hand shattered and it was a mess of pulverized flesh, bones and blood.

' Ninja Art: Micro-Burst Jutsu '

Although Rayzen didn't exert even a quarter of the strength of this technique and his physique, it was enough to do such damage. The main reason why such a trained elite ninja was at the mercy of Rayzen's slap was due to the combination of his terrifying agility and Body Flicker Jutsu.

The boar masked nin screamed in pain for a second and swiftly came back to his senses. Rayzen was unable to utilize these few seconds to take him out as the other nin made him flicker about by throwing senbons at him.

When he managed to detect the position of the cat masked nin, he threw a shuriken at him that went on to deflect all the approaching senbon and hit the nin. Just as he was about to move to take action, he found that his feet were stuck and was being pulled down.

' Earth Release : Headhunter Jutsu '

Rayzen was still trying his best to not kill anyone. So he had to take some effort to break free using ' Micro-Burst Jutsu ' while controlling the impact force to such an extent that it won't kill the person underground.

But as he broke free under the impact of his jutsu, a lot of smoke came out from under his feet.

' Shadow Clone Jutsu ' he thought.

The impact force was enough to disperse the clone. Just as he was thinking that he was being heavily restricted by his own moral constraint of not reaping a single human life, the boar masked nin came at him again with an attack.

Under his Sharingan, Rayzen saw that the boar masked man was making a few seals using his left hand and just as he was less than a metre away from Rayzen, he spewed water from his mouth in a waterfall like fashion.

' Water Release : Wild Water Wave '

Rayzen used Body Flicker to continuously dodge the current of water coming at him as he tried to analyse a weak point of the water current. At the same time, he was under pressure from the senbons being thrown at his blind spots. Just a single mistake and he would get hit by both the weapon and the jutsu.

Having found one weak point in the water current using Sharingan within a few seconds after the jutsu was used, he didn't avoid the senbons coming at him as he made his move. He punched out at the weak point using ' Micro-Burst Jutsu ' which scattered the water current and created a vacuum, that was enough for him to approach the boar masked nin using his agility.

Due to his speed and ' Body Flicker Jutsu ' the senbons only managed to strike his afterimage that barely took shape!

He easily reached the boar masked nin and held the guy's throat in his hand as he raised him to slam the hell out of him!

His senses suddenly warned him of danger! But before he could do something about it, he was again pulled down into the ground, but this time much faster than before. He used the same force to break out as he previously did. But it only managed to destroy the shadow clone and slow down his descent. Since the solid ground had now become muddy, the force from ' Micro-Burst Jutsu ' was getting dispersed before reaching the threshold point for breaking out.

The boar masked nin utilised this moment to stab a senbon into his arm, aiming at his veins. Although he was surprised that it took a lot more force than he expected to pierce Rayzen, he still succeeded.

Rayzen felt the pain from being pierced and he let loose his hold on the boar masked nin's throat. At the same time he used Micro-Burst Jutsu through his feet, without holding back. Under the strong impact force he was able to make a back flip in the air and move backwards to avoid possible attacks.

The boar masked nin was coughing a bit as he massaged his throat. He then spoke a bit hoarsely:

" Now you have been poisoned! Your senses particularly the vision you Uchiha take pride in will reduce sharply in a few seconds. Although you are surprisingly stronger than expected, without the threat of Sharingan, we will be able to kill you in a few minutes. Is this your answer, Uchiha Rayzen? To die while trying to save the lives of those who stand in your path?! "

Rayzen was extremely incensed by his apparent inability to fight without holding back as well as the words of the Root-nin. He removed the senbon stuck on his arm, which sprayed some blood on pulling the senbon out.

Rayzen tied a bandage rapidly and tightly across the puncture wound as he glared at the boar masked nin. His mind was slowly moulding the intention to kill in him, but he tried hard to supress the dark thoughts that rose within him.

Before his mind could be at peace again, a fireball was fired at him from behind.

' Fire Release : Fireball Jutsu '

The jutsu seemed to have struck him and incinerated him completely as it went on the create a steamy fog due to the reaction of heat with the water accumulated on the ground and the moisture.

The one who fired the jutsu was the cat masked nin. He whispered to himself :

" Seems like Lord Danzo overestimated him. "

Just then he heard a cold voice from behind him : " Did he? "

And before he could react, he was dispersed into smoke from Rayzen's punch.

The boar masked nin was shocked by what he witnessed as he asked involuntarily :

" Was the earlier one a clone?! "

The smoke from the dispersed Shadow Clone and the foggy steam absorbed his presence making him vaguely visible.

Rayzen had a cold smile under his mask as he said : " Shall we find out? "
