Nekko's Jutsus

Due to the ' training ' from Root that he had to undergo so as to remodel an useless tool, he was unable to resist following the orders of Danzo.

The best he could do was make an effort to subtly interfere with his instinct to follow orders to the root.

This was the case when he was engaged in combat against Rayzen with the boar masked nin. Otherwise, due to Rayzen hesitating to kill the both of them, he was sure that he could easily kill Rayzen either by sacrificing himself or his teammate.

As Nekko saw the desparation of Rayzen to not kill them, he was reminded of the memory that he suppressed to the back of his mind. The one were he and Rei 'fought' for the last time.

Eventually when he fought with Rayzen, he knew Rayzen was being forced into a corner and was about to make a choice. He knew if Rayzen was not a idiot, he would definitely make a choice that was different from his. But the outcome would still remain the same.

As Rayzen destroyed his right hand to incapacitate him, he mustered with all his will to slow down his next move to take Rayzen with him and warn him to kill him.

Seeing that Rayzen was again trying to incapacitate him instead of killing him, he couldn't help but feel emotionally stifled as he thought:

' Although you have a good heart, it's not suited for this world. I wish we could have met in a different scenario. Maybe we could have been friends.... But! You need to kill me! On the road of your ninja life, let mine be the first life you take! '

He again warned Rayzen for a final time, as he knew, if Rayzen hesitated anymore, the choice will be made for him.

As Rayzen pulverized his heart, he spat out his last words without realising that it broke off as he lost his consciousness:

" Thank you! I don't want to burden you with my requests. But I hope you live a free life, untainted by all the slaughter you have to do for achieving 'peace'. It seems as if have found another friend to play with in out world, Rei! "

His thoughts halted as seemed to have said the last part to his departed friend.

Rayzen opened his eyes and wiped the tears on his face. He then took a deep breath and calmed himself down.

He now had a much better sense of understanding about this world and how different it was in the aspects of its laws and morality. He understood that trying to save someone who intends to harm him, would only harm him and those around him. If he wants a life of no killing, it was possible. If he wants a life spent achieving world peace, it was possible. But having both with his current power and influence was definitely impossible in this world.

He had adjusted himself to the reality of this world and had already decided on his future course of actions, to achieve all that he wants. He didn't shut himself in his room anymore and went out to satiate his hunger and start training on 'hell mode'.

What Rayzen got from the soul speck was not limited to the sad story of the life of Nekko, but all the jutsus and skills he learnt and particularly the training of Root. He also got information of all the loopholes in the defence of Konoha, that can be used to sneak out and in. Although such loopholes will be patched and new ones are correspondingly opened, once he knows the route, he was sure that he could sneak in and out without anyone noticing.

He also understood that Danzo has his 'eye' on him. He comprehended all the information he got to plan his approach with Danzo so as to not take a loss when he meets him again.

Nekko was primarily trained in the art of assassination, hence his skills related to it were close to the level of an elite Jonin. Besides that he had mastered a lot of Wind and Earth Release jutsus.

Rayzen started practicing all the techniques beginning from the ones that Nekko had mastered and frequently used.

' Earth Release : Headhunter Jutsu ' :

D rank Ninjutsu

Allows the user to travel underground, undetectable to the enemy. The user can then grab the opponent and drag them down into the earth, leaving nothing but their head above ground and immobilizing them completely.

' Earth Release : Underground Move Jutsu' :

C rank Ninjutsu

This technique allows its user to silently emerge from an earthen surface, moving as a fish does underwater. As or after they've emerged, users are often well-placed to perform assassinations or guerrilla attacks. To help them go unnoticed while they strike, users will often combine this technique with clone techniques.

' Wind Release: Gale Palm ' :

A Wind Release technique where the user either increases their velocity, or by the user clasping their hands together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale, which has enough force to knock over a person. When used in conjunction with shuriken, senbon or kunai, the tools become more lethal as their speed is increased.

' Assassination Technique ' :

A rank Kenjutsu

A sword technique used by Root members. Using their signature double-edged, tip-less tantō, the user attacks their opponent with a series of swift slashes. Further mastery of this technique allows the user to enter a state which increases the users's strength for a fixed period of time.

' Hiding in Surface Technique ' :

A rank Ninjutsu

With this technique, the user can phase through their surroundings, allowing them to quickly avoid an incoming attack and can travel undetected as well. Using this method of approach, the user can execute a surprise attack to their enemy.

' Shadow Clone Explosion Jutsu ' :

A rank Ninjutsu

The user creates a shadow clone, intending for their opponents to attack the clone at close range. After a certain amount of time has passed, the clone detonates, creating a large explosion. If opponents happen to notice that it's a shadow clone they may be able to escape in time, for which reason the user should try to conceal the clone's identity and purpose as much as possible.

There were a lot of jutsus Nekko knew besides this, but for most of those he had only surface level mastery, while the few rest were tailor made for Nekko who was adept in assassination and had great flexibility.

Rayzen decided that he could later borrow some aspects of the rest of Nekko's jutsus for his own use. There will still some auxiliary jutsus and use of chakra for cleaning up signs of battle, escape etc., which Rayzen decided to master along with the ones he had started to practice.

Seeing him come back to his normal self and continue his training, Asami was happy although she was still feeling anxious over reasons known only to her.
