The very next day he went out early in the morning and napped a sleepy Sora for training. Takeshi and Toshiko too accompanied them as they were curious to see the unique ability of Sora's Sharingan.
But all four of them were disappointed as she was unable to use the same ability to she had used on Rayzen. Rayzen couldn't believe that it was a one time fluke. Since it was Rayzen who confirmed that Sora used the ability on him once, Sora, Toshiko and Takeshi didn't even think he was lying. They chalked it upto the fact that Sora might have used the ability unconsciously.
The theory of his regarding Sora's different personality remained as a mere speculation, as it was only for a few moments that he saw the change and it was not enough to claim she had a different personality. So both Rayzen and Takeshi kept this speculation in the back of their minds, never to be brought out again, unless such an incident where she acts different appears again.
Even the way she used her Sharingan was like a total newbie, much unlike when she used it efficiently for the first time. This confused Rayzen as to whether Sora was acting on instinct at that time or it was someone else who was taking control of her body.
Even though Rayzen didn't show any disappointment on his face and even encouraged Sora to train and master her Sharingan, Sora felt disheartened that she was unable to impress Rayzen. Hence when she was training she put in her maximum effort, neither slacking nor complaining.
Since she needed to train in using her Sharingan just like Toshiko who unlocked it recently, he adviced the both of them to seek guidance from their father.
Rayzen cannot compare with Takeshi, in regards to guiding them in using their Sharingan. As even he learnt it from Takeshi and later focused on forging his own path of using Sharingan to make the best use out of it.

As the three left after training, Rayzen was having his breakfast with Asami.
With Rayzen's care, her recovery time was drastically reduced and she could get back into service in about a month. Currently, she had recovered to her peak and her combat prowess had a qualitative transformation after her near death experience.
Even though everything appeared peaceful and happy on the surface, it pained her to see that Rayzen was a bit conflicted with how to behave infront of her. Earlier, he was like a koala that latched on to Asami like it latches on to a bamboo pole. Always trying to take advantage of her and when separated from her for a long time, he would always make her feel pity towards him.
But now, even though he was actively taking care of her, there was a distance between them. He seemed to be more mature, having killed off his usual exploitation of her. She knew that this wide rift in their relationship was all due to her own fault.
The secrets she held dear made him feel secondary not because those secrets were closely related to him and her. But because he felt that those secrets carried something that threatened the existence of Asami just because she was related to him. And the fact that he was not able to do anything about it other than prying out the secret from her mouth was suffocating him.
Still, he was not going to cry over it. He did and does what he could to prevent any danger to him and her. He and Asami trained together in secret, at times when and places where no one would observe them. This was under Rayzen's request, which Asami too found it brilliant.
For a ninja, the success of a mission is entirely reliant on information. The more you hide the information regarding your strengths from your allies, the more your enemies will underestimate you.
This was especially so for Rayzen, as no one knew his true strength, most of his techniques and trump cards. And even those that thought they knew the depths of his intelligence and character, would be shocked on seeing what he truly was.

As he went on with his training routine and improving and mastering techniques with shadow clones, the real him was distracted by what he perceived as Sora's unique ability.
Not Sora's per say, but the unique ability that manifests in a normal Sharingan.
Ever since he knew he was in the Uchiha clan, he always wondered, why none of the Uchiha's he knew had copied the jutsus of their enemies, as much as Kakashi did. This was excluding taijutsu.
It was not as if there was not a single person. But from the clan records, there were people who copied a lot of other's jutsus, but they had only managed to copy those that they were closely related to the ones they were familiar with. And very few of them were able to make use of the copying ability, that too under many constraints.
There was not a single person in the clan that was as proficient as Kakashi in copying jutsus, or even barely comparable to him.
Even he himself found it difficult to copy jutsus in the heat of battles. Particularly with jutsus he was totally clueless about, he was barely able to copy them with his Sharingan alone. He was a total farcry from the Copy Ninja, Kakashi.
What was most bizzare, was even the owner of the eye that Kakashi used, Uchiha Obito was never shown copying jutsu. It was most likely that it would affect his battle prowess and even he could not make use of the copying ability as proficient as Kakashi.
Similarly, the analysis ability of Sasuke's Sharingan was a grade above the normal Sharingan. And Shisui's genjutsu prowess that was a grade above those in his clan. Uchiha Madara whose mastery of Sharingan was unrivalled when he was alive, so much so that it was said that he could distinguish between the wood clones and the real Hashirama.
All these people even though had the same base Sharingan, the power they were able to bring out with it was entirely different. It was if they had unique abilities for their Sharingan.
This was the same as swords-masters, from different schools of sword, using the same sword.
He was happy that Sora could bring out from her Sharingan, such a kind of ability that was unique to her. This made him wonder, how different his Sharingan would turn out to be as he increases his level of mastery with it.
