Year 1968...

Divina was broken-hearted due to her lover, Alfredo's infidelity. He cheated on her with a rich heiress named Belen. Even though it was difficult for Divina, she forced herself to move on. She became a teacher in a private school and became close friends with their headteacher, Marco Salvador. Marco is a happy person and he shares this happiness with those people around him to the point that Divina is slowly falling for him... but there is one absolute rule in that school, they shouldn't have a romantic relationship with each other. Marco holds a high position at school and Divina loves teaching. How are they able to face the obstacles of their growing affection? Are they destined to be together or will they end up with the common saying, "they met but they were not fated"?

Divina and Alfredo are now in a restaurant where they took shelter from the rain earlier. Divina had calmed down now and had stopped herself from crying, she also noticed that Alfredo’s eyes were red too, it seems like he also cried. She couldn’t imagine a very manly man bawled his eyes upon seeing her cry. They were both quiet as they sat across each other. Divina also doesn’t know what to say to her former lover. 


“You’ve gotten thinner but still beautiful as ever… no, you’ve become lovelier.”, Alfredo blushed as he was trying to find the right words to compliment Divina. Divina looked at Alfredo, unlike before he doesn’t look too confident anymore which even made Divina more speechless.
