Year 1968...

Divina was broken-hearted due to her lover, Alfredo's infidelity. He cheated on her with a rich heiress named Belen. Even though it was difficult for Divina, she forced herself to move on. She became a teacher in a private school and became close friends with their headteacher, Marco Salvador. Marco is a happy person and he shares this happiness with those people around him to the point that Divina is slowly falling for him... but there is one absolute rule in that school, they shouldn't have a romantic relationship with each other. Marco holds a high position at school and Divina loves teaching. How are they able to face the obstacles of their growing affection? Are they destined to be together or will they end up with the common saying, "they met but they were not fated"?

One by one, Divina had visited the places where she and Marco would constantly come. This is what makes her busy ever since she became Alfredo’s widow a year ago. 


The coffee shop where she and Marco frequented and would often play piano had been demolished already. The school where she and Marco had once taught is no longer there too. Many buildings and establishments were erected in the town now. And their meeting place under the old tree near the school had now become a park… but the tree still remains there. It’s the only link between her and the past of this place… the only connection she had with Marco. 


Divina sat on a bench under the shade of the old tree when a young adult man came to her. The man seems to be around 23 or 24 years of age.
