I woke up with a start; gasping in huge gulps of air like I’d been starving for days. 


“Hey, it okay! Sanaya.” Lancelin’s voice came from somewhere next to me and I reached my hands out towards him instinctively. 


A pair of strong arms wrapped around my body, pulling me taunt against a hard muscular chest. “Shhh…it’s okay. You’re safe now. You’re home.” 


I hadn’t realized I was struggling against him until Lance had to hold me to him even harder, trying to calm me down. 


“It’s alright. I’m here now. I’ll never leave you again, I promise.” Lance pressed me to his chest even harder and I began to calm down slowly.
