Chapter 66

Masa didn't know exactly what had happened. But based on the fact that he was here, and everyone was quiet, it was something bad. He watched as Yoshi and Kai sat down, everyone looking up at him like he had all the answers to the universe. Masa really didn't. He reached down, grabbing the leather book.

"Can someone explain where you guys found this?" Masa asked gently, lifting the book. He wasn't supposed to scold them, just explain to them what happened. But Masa himself didn't even know. "Uh, Kiki wanted me to grab it when we were at Yokosa, so I did." Mago mumbled. So they met Kiki, ok. That's good. "You guys met Sahae, didn't you?" Masa asked.

Everyone was silent, yet Baker nodded. "Yeah, we did." He mumbled. Masa hummed. Masa took a step back, before bowing to the group. "I'm sorry if he hurt any of you." Masa apologized.

Yoshi shook his head. "We're fine." He comforted me. Masa however still stayed bowing for a moment, before standing back up. "So that's why Hisoki's neck is bruised and there's a knife on the floor?" He needed to understand what happened. He could already somewhat paint a picture. Kai hummed, nodding. Now it was time for the difficult question.

"How much do you guys know?"

They all went quiet, Masa folding his arms behind him. None of them wanted to talk about it. Masa sighed. "Better question, how much did you guys read?" "We know the basics. Like the sexual abuse and Akumu…" That got Masa's attention. He turned to look at Mago. "Do you know who Akumu is?" Masa asked, to which the boy shook his head. "Brother..?"Wafi guessed quietly, but Masa shook his head.

"Father."

Baker sighed, covering his face, making Masa frown. He could feel Heko wanting to take over. He could feel all of them wanting to. Besides Hisoki.

Masa cleared his throat and head, looking up at the group. "Akumu was a terrible person. He and his friends would do... terrible things to Hisoki, and film it all to sell as profit. Sell him for profit." Masa mumbled, leaning on the island. He had never told anyone this, he wasn't supposed to. He could feel Sahae crawling up from the bottom of his mind, sending shivers down his spine. Masa took a second, closing his eyes and breathing, before opening them once again.

They all seemed hurt, as if HIsoki broke all of their hearts. Maybe he did. "Is that why you guys are here?" Mago asked, having curled into a ball. Masa nodded lightly. "Sahae and I are here to protect. Other alters were there to mostly deal with Akumu and his friends. Kiso was there for multiple reasons, and Kiki…." Mago sighed.

"Kiki's there since Hisoki's childhood was stolen from him.

"But he- why couldn't he just tell us?" Baker mumbled, his voice quiet. Masa was silent. He searched for Hisoki's personality. He wanted to know if Hisoki was ok. Or if he was in hiding. "That's a good question. Ask him yourself." Masa nodded. And with a switch of a button, Hisoki had gained control.

______

Kai watched quietly as Masa switched to Hisoki. The boy was staring at the floor. However, even when Hisoki had fully switched, he continued to stare at the floor. Did he not want to see them? They all watched in silence, waiting for something to happen. For Hisoki to look up.

But he didn't.

Mago lightly stood, walking over to the teacher. He wrapped his hands in a tight hug. Everyone was silent, watching them. "Guess what I did today?" Mago asked. He furrowed his eyebrows, watching the two. Hisoki smiles, lightly backing away. "What did you do?" They were talking, a conversation. As if the others weren't even here. As if what happened, didn't even happen. "I went to my school's garden. Saw the prettiest flowers and butterflies. You wanna know my favorite flower?" Hisoki nodded slightly with the question. Mago grinned.

"You."

Hisoki laughed quietly, hugging Mago once again. "Thank you." He mumbled. Mago hugged back instantly. "Your welcome, Soki." Mago said quietly. The tanned boy stepped away from the hug, tapped the book beside it. "Read the last entry." He said simply. No one knew exactly what Masa had written in that book. What he talked about or anything. However, when Hisoki read over the words, he mouthed with it. It was English, that's for sure. But Kai couldn't understand anything else.

Hisoki sighed after reading, closing the book. He walked over to Baker, tilting his head up slightly to look at the boy's neck. He stared at the cut for a moment, but when he let go, Baker looked up at him. "Are you ok?" Baker asked worriedly. Hisoki smiled and nodded. "Are you?" Baker responded, the boy nodding as well. Kai wondered if Hisoki lied. He stepped back, sitting down in front of them. "How much do you know?" Hisoki asked kindly. Everyone was silent, but Yoshi spoke out of the silence.

"Everything."
