Chapter 36

Chapter 36- What am I?

As I was walking back home from my 'fun time' at the bar. I couldn't help but wonder just what exactly was going on.

First was how I was mysteriously transported to another world to be a HERO. Though in truth they just wanted a slave to do their bidding.

Second was how I met the moon goddess right before she sent me back home. She made it sound like she would be seeing me again. Not only that but it seems the only reason that the Werewolf ritual worked on me was because she helped out.

Lastly, when I came back to Earth everything that I thought I knew was wrong. Aliens existed and have lived on Earth for hundreds of years but have stayed hidden.

I was caught in the middle of a giant battle between two opposing forces of aliens and supernatural people that wanted control over Earth, with normal humans none the wiser.

"Just what the hell did I come back home to. I miss the simple days where everyone at school would just ignore me."

I thought to myself as I turned into the lobby of my apartment building.

However as I entered a strange feeling crept up my spine.

Something was wrong.

"Oh shit. Upstairs!" I yelled as a I ran for the stairs instead of the elevator. It was going to be the quickest way to the penthouse.

'No, no, no. Please be okay.'

I used all the speed that I had in my body and rocketed up the stairs, shutting down all my other senses except for my stamina and eyesight."

I shot through the stairwell and made my way through in record time, even Usain Bolt would loose and made it to the front door of our/ her apartment.

The only thing that I smelled was BLOOD.

I broke down the door full of rage and bloodlust as the door shattered to pieces. I stepped through the shattered door and into the apartment.

I was breathing heavy and hard my pule was erratic. I needed to find Olivia now or I was going to loose it.

I ran through the living room past the kitchen and into our bedroom, their she lied covered in wounds and blood.

My sweet, sweet Olivia.

I picked her up in my arms as tears started to fall down my face. Rage was the only thing that I could think of at this point.

Nothing anybody would have said would of knocked me out of my rage. That was until I focused my breathing and I could hear her.

It was faint but it was there, she was breathing.

Though it was faint I knew that I wasn't mistaken, she as holding on. My body moved on it's own and the next thing that I knew I was running out of our apartment and down the long stretch of stairs.

It was faster than the elevator.

Out the front entrance to the apartment complex I was heading to the nearest hospital holding a bloody mess of a body in my arms, like a madman.

The only thing that was on my mind and that I knew in my heart that I had to do was to save Olivia, no matter what.

Nothing else mattered.
