Pancakes

"What are you making?" asked Ren as he fixed his gaze at Jay, who was letting out flour, sugar, eggs, and baking powder from the cabinet. He seemed to have been skeptical at Jay with his eyes narrowing at him. "Are you making a cake?"

"Cake? Well, I'm not making a cake. I am making some panca—"

Flustered, Jay dropped the egg he was holding on the floor.

"Oh, no!"

Ren shook his head as a response to seeing him dropping things on the floor. He could see him momentarily panic as his eyes were fixed on the floor.

As he snapped himself back to reality, Jay immediately looked for a clean towel and crouched on the floor.

"Jay," Ren called him out before he would start scooping it up and chasing it on the floor. "There's an easier way of cleaning this up." He looked for the salt container by the kitchen area, opened the lid, and poured the salt on the egg. "For easy cleanup, all we have to do is this."
