Chapter no. 77 Xiao Ning'er Vs Zhu Long

Flying up in the sky over the Devil's Forest , Xiao Ning'er and Yu Yan observed the one sided slaughter of the War God's Army but the majority of there attention was on the broken tower situated in the center of the Devil's Forest as " Tempest " the Temporal Qilin floated towards the two and informed them .
" General ! I sense a distortion in Space coming from the northwest of here. "
Hearing the news Xiao Ning'er and Yu Yan frowned .
" Sister Yu Yan , I propose you check out that tower while I check out that space distortion with Tempest ."
Yu Yan nodded as she flew at high speeds towards the broken tower .
Xiao Ning'er followed tempest to the northwest area as she saw what looked like the entrance to an underground palace .
Her eyes widened when she felt the emotions of madness , anger , greed , lust and pride . If a normal cultivator sensed these emotions their mental state would be damaged to quite a degree but as the Spiritual Goddess of Love , her mental state couldn't be effected by such emotions .
{ Sister Xiao Ning'er , wait for me to come to your location } Yu Yan telepathically conveyed to Xiao Ning'er .

In response to her question , Yu Yan telepathically sent her the image of what she was seeing inside the broken tower .
The entire room was dyed in black as a putrid smell assaulted Yu Yan's senses but her face remained calm and composed as she gazed at the pile of skin ? lying infront of her .
That pile of skin was instantaneously recognised by Yu Yan as it belonged to Zhu Long , the most powerful Demon Beast in the Divine Continent.
Feeling like something was wrong , Yu Yan telepathically told Xiao Ning'er to wait for her .
{ Sister Yu Yan , thank you for your concern but I can handle it }
Yu Yan sighed as she heard Xiao Ning'er's words but the feeling of foreboding still made her anxious .
It was the same feeling she felt a thousand times during the war against the demon beasts .

Suddenly hearing Lin Lingtian's words , both girls were surprised .
Unlike Yu Yan who wanted to be careful and cautious when dealing with whatever that turned Zhu Long into a pile of skin , Lin Lingtian fully believed in Xiao Ning'er's capabilities .

Hearing Lin Lingtian's words , Yu Yan's emotionless face shocked a hint of worry as the foreboding feeling was greater then ever before .

A shockwave was felt throughout the entirety of the Devil's Forest as Yu Yan immediately erupted it flames and flew out of the broken building with her flames instantly vaporising anything that was an obstacle to her flight for example that now completely disintegrated broken building in the center of the Devil's Forest as Yu Yan's body flew at extremely high speeds towards the location of Xiao Ning'er .
She could sense Xiao Ning'er fighting against something greater then the Spiritual God Realm .

Inside the underground palace , two figures could be see having a stand off with their fists meeting in the center .
On one side was Xiao Ning'er who had a digusted looked on her face as she gazed the monstrosity infront if her .
Pale white skin with a thin yet muscular build as it's face was just a pair of horns with a mouth .

This monstrosity was Zhu Long after he had lost his Law of ice and was corrupted by the power of Ashura .
Xiao Ning'er frowned when she saw that her soul force was disintegrating when it touched it's skin .
{ Be careful , it has the power of a 5 Heavenly Fate Realm } Lin Lingtian informed Xiao Ning'er telepathically .
{ Got it }
Xiao Ning'er took a deep breath as she turned into a bolt of lightning and rushed at the monster who was grinning ominously as it's fist swung at Xiao Ning'er .
The moment her fist came near the monster she stopped channeling soul force and confronted the monster with her physical strength .

The monster was stunned by Xiao Ning'er's Physique as it didn't even have a scratch on it and this moment was all Xiao Ning'er needed to punch the monster .

The monster a little disoriented tried to stand but Xiao Ning'er wouldn't let it as she swung right and left completely suppressing the monster as it a tooth fell out of it's mouth .
Xiao Ning'er thought ,' Why is it so weak ? ' As she grabbed it's neck and held it mid air , the monster Zhu Long struggled to free itself from Xiao Ning'er's grip as it's tail attacked Xiao Ning'er from the back .

The corrupted Zhu Long could only scream and struggle against Xiao Ning'er who had ripped off it's tail .
Xiao Ning'er was only able to overpower and completely suppress Zhu Long , a 5 Heavenly Fate Realm expert with only her physical strength was because she had merged with the Thunder God's Meteorite Sword when she formed her divine spark . Anything below a Martial Ancestor realm wouldn't even made a dent in her body .
Along with her monstrous physique , Xiao Ning'er also had the law of love also known as the voice of Life which can takes the emotions of it's enemies and empowers her . An Ashura is a being filled with nothing but emotions of madness , anger, greed , lust and pride , for an Ashura Xiao Ning'er is the worst opponent to face off against as she can take away their emotions and makes herself more and more stronger and with the Physique of the Thunder God's Meteorite Sword , what could a mere 5 Heavenly Fate Rank do against her ?

The Roof of the Underground palace broke as Yu Yan floated down towards the floor .
" Oh ! " She raised an eyebrow as she saw Xiao Ning'er holding the corrupted Zhu Long up in the air .
" See ; I told you , trust me ." Xiao Ning'er quipped to Yu Yan who was feeling embarrassed for doubting her abilities .
Suddenly the corrupted Zhu Long turned towards a figure messing with the Black Lotus Platform that connects this world with the Ashura world .
Zhu Long erupted in a orb of red as the power of madness or Ashura invaded Xiao Ning'er's hands who instinctively let go .
Zhu Long rushed towards Lin Lingtian who was messing with the Black Lotus Platform and the moment Zhu Long came towards Lin Lingtian .

A dust cloud was created that enveloped the entire room .
Xiao Ning'er waved her hand as the wind pressure clear the room revealing a mind blowing scene .
Lin Lingtian was using the corrupted Zhu Long's body a chair .

The corrupted Zhu Long was dumbfounded as to what had happened and it tried to use its speed to swing it's fist at Lin Lingtian who caught Zhu Long's fist with one hand .

Black and red blood dyed the floor as Zhu Long's right arm that Lin Lingtian had caught was dropped to the floor .
Lin Lingtian turned around before Zhu Long could even react and back kicked it's head .

Under Xiao Ning'er and Yu Yan's eyes , Zhu Long's head was turned into a bloody mist .
Zhu Long's soul tried to escape but was met with a giant leviathan head made of Heavenly Lightning .

Seeing the disintegrated soul of Zhu Long , Lin Lingtian exclaimed ," Well that was underwhelming ."
Xiao Ning'er looked at Yu Yan as they both agreed .
' Somehow , Lin Lingtian got even more stronger .'
