Chapter no.93 The Spirit Gulf

[ POV Change ]

[ Divine Continent - The Spirit Gulf ]

Located in the western edge of the Divine Continent lies a place known as The Spirit Gulf .

A very mysterious chasm that no one actually knows where it leads to but according to a legend in the Sacred Empire ; a very poor farmer once was lead by a mysterious demon beasts described as a flightless bird whose wings were made of gold and jade as it sensed the pure heart of the farmer and led him to the spirit gulf where the farmer drank the elixir of immortality and gain the power to destroy the world but when the kind farmer shared his wealth with his friends who eventually got greedy and betrayed the farmer as they tried to kill him but as an immortal the farmer easily destroyed his betrayers , in his sadness the immortal retreated into the spirit gulf which had terraformed into a giant chasm filled with an eriee violet mist .

Many people throughout the eras have gone into the Spirit Gulf in search of riches , Heavenly treasure e.t.c. only to never come back .

In the Woodland Empire Era , anyone who came even close to the Spirit Gulf died out in a few days without any kind of struggle , it didn't matter if they were a human or a demon beasts.

After a few hundred years , the Spirit Gulf welcomed a few new guests as a spiral of leaves blew over the land revealing the Spiritual God of Wood " Xander " The elder tree Lich along with the Spiritual God of Death " Pandora " The wither bird .

Gazing over the violet mist covered land , the two Spiritual Gods could sense the extremely dense soul force in this land . This dense soul force had traces of Yin and Yang in such concentrated quantities that it would normally be impossible to distinguish between normally dense soul force and this violent Soul Force , easily creating an imbalance inside the body of anyone that dares to absorb it .

Channeling their respective laws throughout their bodies , the two Spiritual Gods began collecting the soul shards , artifacts , scrolls from the mountains of corpses lining the land of the Spirit Gulf as Lin Lingtian had ordered them to collect anything that seems valuable .

Deep inside the Spirit Gulf at the very bottom was a weird architecture surrounding a misty white ethereal bonsai tree .

( A.N : Imagine this )

Below the tree , a demon beast was seen sleeping as if it had sensed the two Spiritual Gods that were plundering the bodies and demon spirits of the dead above ground .

Stretching a bit , the light provided by the white ethereal bonsai tree showed a humanoid demon beast wearing exquisite gold and red armour . Like a king it wore a crown as it's majestic golden hair waved side to side .

Outstretching it's hand , the King of the Spirit Gulf commanded it's artifact to emerge .

( ~ Woo ~ )

( ~ Swish ~ )

A red staff with gold edges emerging from the water below .

The King of the Spirit Gulf , the ancient demon beast Vanara grinned in anticipation . It's blood boiled for combat .

[ POV Change ]

[ Abyssal Prison Realm ]

( ~ Rwrr ~ )

A horde of 1 star silver demon beast that resembled the appearance of a monkey. It didn't have any hair on it's body and it's skin was a scarlet colour with it's sharp pointy ears, short arms with long and slender claws, and bulging blue eyes which showed fear as from the very back Xiao Ning'er could be seen slowly walking as a few scarlet ghost were held in the air .

( A.N : Imagine this )

Pshh! Pshh!

Fresh blood splattered around the area.

The Scarlet Ghosts were instantly killed by Xiao Ning'er as the Blood Crystals embedded into their bodies were magnetically ripped out as Xiao Ning'er inspected these crystals with interest .

Suddenly Xiao Ning'er stopped as she stared at the light a few hundred meters away from her .

In the distant plains, there was a lamp that was swaying about from the wind. Although it's drizzling and a little misty, the light was not extinguished.

Suddenly, several scarlet red tongues appeared from within the darkness, and coiled around the Scarlet . The Scarlet Ghosts screamed miserably and were pulled by those long tongues, disappearing into the darkness.

Guji! Guji!

The Scarlet Ghosts that were left behind were all horrified by the scene and ran in all directions. Shrieks filled the skies as they scattered.

A huge demon beast slowly showed itself within the dark night. Its body's as tall as a mountain, giving others a suffocating feeling. It has a huge head that appeared to be extremely horrifying. Its huge mouth is large enough to swallow a small mountain. Within its large mouth, there are thousands of scarlet tongues. These tongues can shoot out quickly, coil around its prey and feed on them. Although these tongues are only as thick as an arm, they are extremely tough, making them hard to cut. Even if they are chopped off, the Netherlamp Behemoth can grow out countless tongues in an instant.

Xiao Ning'er raised an eyebrow as the tongues converged towards her .

Revealing a tiny fraction of her aura , Xiao Ning'er exclaimed ," Meh ! "

The entirety of the Netherlamp Behemoth froze as it sensed a being far more dangerous then anything it has ever seen . Driven by instincts the Netherlamp Behemoth showed on its species' hidden cards as a pair of wings emerged from it's back and it tried to escape from the now amused Xiao Ning'er who just picked up a stone .

With her control over her artificially produced magnetic field she pushed the stone in her hands using Lorentz Force as a blue octagon formed above her hand. She had just reinforced the stone with soul force and was moving it at relativistic speeds as she aimed and fired .

( ~ Boom ~ )

Before the sonic boom could even be heard the Netherlamp Behemoth's body had a hole blown through it .

Xiao Ning'er smiled at her new application of her technique as she was trying to develop a way to fight with those from the Ashura World .
