Zeik groaned using all his strength to lift the massive lifeless carcass off of him. Forcing it with everything he had to the right, the beast flopped off to the side, leaving Zeik gasping for air. He coughed hard as air rushed back into his lungs and he rolled around for a minute not able to stop coughing and catch his breath right. Soon it settled and he sat up rubbing his head. He got up and reached for his sword only to have it shatter into 2 pieces leaving him with the hilt and only about 4 inches of blade. The rest of the weapon had snapped off inside of the beast against one of its bones. Snarling zeik muttered," you better give me a new weapon you fucking beast or I swear to the gods above and below." He slammed the blade into the beast's stomach and started cutting it open. In this world if a hostile beast was killed inside its stomach there was a chance for something to be inside. What was inside could never be guessed or told and not everything hostile happened to have something inside its stomach but it was Zeiks only hope with his weapon broken. If there wasn't something inside then he'd have to make his way back to the stronghold till he could afford another one. It wasn't safe out here with just the F grade revolver and it was barely safe before with the addition of the F grade iron sword.
Soon Zeik had cut deep into the beast and came out with a beautiful red colored orb that shone like a ruby. Items and skills were split into multiple tiers of power; yellow were mortal grade otherwise known as F rank, green were called rare grade also known to be E rank, red was the epic grade equivalent to D rank, blue planet grade was the C rank, orange was legendary grade same as a B rank, and purple was mythical grade also known as A rank. There were rumors that there were tiers higher than this, but nothing had ever been proven since most powerful people had to hide their trump cards. Without another hesitation Zeik crushed the red orb and the light flashed before a beautiful black curved knife fell into his palm. The handle fit perfectly in his hand and the blade was just short of a foot long. A black tiger-like cat was engraved deeply into the blade. The item bound itself to his soul and the info was quickly processed by his A.I.M.

Dumbstruck Zeik couldn't stop grinning as he pumped the air with his fist. Soon he had used his new weapon to carve the beast separating all the meat from the bones and burying the delicacies away. He started a fire and began cooking the meat, " I'm gonna make me some grub, oh yeah." He started dancing around but soon stopped regretting it immediately. Pain wreaked havoc through his body as he sucked in a sharp breath. " Stupid, stupid, stupid. Anyway focus, come to daddy my beautiful new skill." He went ba k to work cooking the meat before digging in.

After about 6 hours of searching Zeik had been over the top careful after his last run in with the cat. He hadn't had any more surprises and had managed to collect up 27 of the 30 Thunder Stones he was looking for. The sky was dark and it was getting real hard to see everything around him. Deciding it was best to stop for the night and pick things up in the morning, Zeik climbed a tall tree and found himself a good comfortable spot where 3 branches came together in a kind of bowl. Settling down for the night he stared up at the stars in the sky sighing as he went over his crazy first day on the planet. He pulled up the skill page and focused on his new skill he'd gotten from the jungle cat.

Around 100 feet away a young girl no older than 18 laid down in her sleeping bag inside a high tech tent. The outside of the tent had a feature that made it blend in so predators and such would stay away. This young girl had seen Zeik a few hours ago deep in the Shaxlin Wilds and followed behind him silently watching as he collected stones. She'd grown curious because he looked young and new but yet was brave enough to travel alone out here. She settled down and looked up towards the tree she'd seen him climb up while she thought about his uniqueness. Soon sleep too overtook her as she drifted off for the night.
