Who cares about who?

"Are you waiting for something?" He jumped at Andrei's voice behind his back.

How embarrassing. Marc has already left, yet he was still standing there like he was waiting for it to come back and continue what it started earlier.

"N-no. I wasn't."

It stared at him for quite some time that it looked as though it wanted to tell him something.

They both ended up on the garden lawn.

"I think he cares about you."

He basically choked on his own saliva and he started coughing relentlessly.

He felt confused at first if the latter was actually talking to him.

It wasn't a secret that Andrei was never the type to share thoughts with anyone.

"I think you two suit each other well."

"You got it all wrong, were-"

"Ever since you came, it's the first time he started laughing again." he was caught unprepared by its revelation.

"It couldn't have anything to do with me, right? We've just met. And the guy-" he was about to say the words- hate me. But that would definitely raise some suspicion on his part. "barely knew me." he decided to utter instead.

"If that's what you think," Andrei begged to disagree with what he said. It stood and walked back into the house resolved with what it believed in.

Leaving him with another question in mind.

Could it be telling the truth? Or their plan might have just worked after all?

First Day at School.

Lizzy and Reese were so excited to see him at the campus ground. That Lizzy run to hug him.

"I'm glad you're here," said Lizzy.

"Me too," he said hugging back.

"It's all been settled then. Shall we go to class now?" Reese was laughing at them both. It's like they've never seen each other for a very long time. That they're actually making a scene in front of other students.

Not far from them, a set of eyes were staring contently.

Marc can't help but post a smile on his lips while looking at the three friends. Especially, Erin.

Ever since he had met the guy. His life felt a little more interesting lately.

"Are you enjoying the scene?" Tennesey's voice pulled him back to that annoying really. Where he had to face people he hated most. An irritating smile formed its lips. "Or is it the one that you're actually looking at?"

He turned his glance elsewhere and away from Erin and its friends. If there is one thing that he learned from dealing with Tennesey. It's that, he should never let it see through his weakness. And right now, Erin is one of them.

"What do you want now?" he sure made it clear that he's not even a bit interested in its theory.

"I'm just curious about how important that person could mean to you."

"You're having delusions again," he said walking out from the guy.

"Is it?" he stopped mid-way. "I hope not. Or I'll be very disappointed for not having any leverage with you."

"Suit yourself." he made it look like he didn't care at all. And walked away as planned. Not giving Erin the last glance for it might actually give him away.

Tennesey turned its gaze back to Erin. Who was still having fun with his friends at the Campus grounds.

Right at that moment, ideas started forming in his head. And it wasn't all good.

"I'll make sure to bring out the worst in you," he said not taking his eyes off Erin. As if it was some kind of a Prize.

***

It still feels surreal to Erin. As he went to the men's room after his first-class has ended.

He and his friends have decided to meet at the cafeteria. Since they are all in different classes.

The restroom is unusually empty at that time. But he didn't bother to notice it.

"Are you enjoying it?" Marc suddenly went out from one of the cubicles there.

"Were you waiting for me here?"

It chuckled lightly.

"Don't get too ahead of yourself. I was here first."

"Then why isn't anyone around? There isn't a soul coming in either."

"Probably because they're outside."

Did it mean, Dylan and Andrei?

Meanwhile.

Both bodyguards exchanged knowing glances outside the men's room. They are there to ward off any unexpected distractions for their boss.

"They're fighting again." Dylan was being amused by its master's other fetish.

"Stick your nose to the job. It's none of our business." Andrei uttered.

"Aren't you a bit curious why he's so interested in this kid?"

"No."

A guy and a girl approached them later.

Dylan was instantly recognized Reese as one of the two.

"Is this toilet closed?" Asked the latter.

Andrei slightly coughed as to hide its awkwardness at the moment. And Dylan was perfectly aware of the reason why.

"He's inside, is he?" both bodyguards confirmed Reese's suspicion.

Dylan nodded. Since Andrei was so busy trying to avoid the latter's eyes for some reason.

"Our friends inside as well. We saw him come in there. I was hoping,"

"Oh yeah, that boy,"

"You could wait for him at the cafeteria. I'll tell him that you've come by."Andrei suddenly cut him off.

"Okay," said Reese. And decided to walk with Lizzy in the direction of the cafeteria.

"You're too obvious," said Dylan seeing how Andrei followed Reese with its eyes. It suddenly turned its glance away.

"Mind your business."
