Realizing that she had feelings for Wolf Anastasia did her best to avoid him at all costs. It's been three days since she discovered her truth of falling for him.
Since then she's been trying to figure out if he truly felt the same. She believed he did share the same feelings but she was also very doubtful.
During the day it was easier to avoid him because he was so busy with court and paperwork. The night was the toughest time to avoid him because he wanted to use their chambers.
For the past three days, Anastasia has slept in her chambers. Wolf was displeased by this because she would wake up in the morning with him laying in bed with her.
Her plan of avoiding him was futile as he tried to stick to her like glue. This behavior only fueled Anastasia's idea of him having feelings for her as well.
Anastasia knew the contents of the novel and she thought that if she could change the outline she could be the one he ends up with instead of Beatrice.
"I know a lot about these transmigration stories and I won't be a side character who just lets the one she loves getaway! My being here has already changed the story. If the story wasn't altered then how am I still alive? Exactly. My theory is correct."
Anastasia thought to herself as Elena and her other maids dressed her and did her hair. She was completely lost in her thoughts. They looked at her worriedly, their Queen had been acting strange lately.
"Your Royal Highness, his Majesty is awaiting you in the dining room for breakfast," Elena said breaking Anastasia's thoughts.
In the beginning, Anastasia loathed eating with Wolf, but now she looked forward to their daily routine.
"Yes let's go," Anastasia said smiling she was excited to see him for the first time.
"I may have never been in a relationship but I'm not clueless." Anastasia thought to herself as they made their way through the hallway.
"I will capture his cold heart!" She confidently cheered herself on.
The doors opened revealing Wolf sitting at the end of the table that was filled with delicious food.
Anastasia usually made a b-line for her seat avoiding eye contact but not today. She was prepared to flirt! She knew this was risky considering that's how the original Anastasia died.
She would just be her usual self but more confident, that was her definition of flirting. She didn't plan on bouncing on him or anything.
"Husband, Good morning." She smiled brightly in his direction giving her greeting.
He glared at her and to anyone else even her old self would have been scared of his icy stare. Anastasia knew even though his face was stoic and his eyes were cold he meant no harm. At least to her.
"Morning wife, sit down I had the chef make your favorites." He said his expression never changed but Anastasia saw his eyes soften but just as quickly as it came it was gone.
Anastasia's heart ached for Wolf because she knew the type of childhood he endured. He wasn't born a villain he was made into one. Anastasia always saw the good within people that's why she was able to empathize with him.
"Thank you so much darling, you treat me so well," Anastasia said giving him some fan service. She found that having a person to like romantically was exciting.
She also found that she liked to tease Wolf she noticed when she smiled directly at him his ears turned red. Just now when she called him darling she could see his ears perk up and turn crimson.
"So cute!" She thought.
They ate their breakfast in a comfortable silence with Anastasia periodically placing food onto his plate. Anastasia thought of a perfect idea to get to know him better.
"Husband, don't you want to go on a date with me?" She asked not hiding her intentions.
Her open honesty and readable expressions were something Wolf noticed and it attracted him.
"A date? Sure where do you want to go?" He asked putting down his fork and knife giving Anastasia his full attention.
"I want to see the territory I've never been outside the palace." She said realizing ever since she came to this world she hasn't left the palace. She had no clue how the outside world operated or looked.
"The territory is fairly safe we can go." He said.
"Thank you, husband! I'll go get ready now!" She said excitedly rushing out of the dining room.
"I've never seen such a Queen." Wolf chuckled to himself.

Inside a carriage for the first time, Anastasia found it amazing. It was setting in that she had transmigrated to another world and time. Honestly speaking she always wondered if this situation was possible. It was she was living proof.
She stared out the window watching everything that passed by. Soon they arrived at the town square and it was more lively than she imagined.
"It's so lively here." She said as Wolf helped her off the carriage.
Many knights surrounded them and the people of the territory bowed in respect to Wolf and Anastasia.
She was a little flustered at all the attention but she played it cool.
"I barely come here so they are surprised to see me walking around and it's also their first time seeing you." He said to Anastasia as they walked through the streets
"Ah. I see. It's so lively and pretty here will I be able to come here more often?" She inquired.
"Sure as long as you bring knights or you are with me." He said.
"Great! Let's go to this store." She said taking his hand and dragging him."
The knights and maids were shocked to see the small Anastasia drag the almighty King like a rag doll through the streets from store to store.
What was even more shocking was that the king was smiling! He didn't complain once, he followed Anastasia like a puppy.
Leaving a store they passed a merchant who was selling jewelry. Though the jewelry was cheap it was beautiful and classic. A pair of matching rings in particular caught Anastasia's eye.
"Sir, how much are these rings?" She asked the merchant.
When the merchant realized who was talking to him he immediately bowed in respect and greeted them.
"Your Royal Highness, I dare not charge you, please take them." He said honestly.
"No no, I can't do that how about I give you this and I take these off your hands?" She said exchanging a piece of gold for the rings.
"May the goddess please your Royal Highnesses!" He said.

Back in the carriage, Anastasia was exhausted but she was happy. She pulled out the matching rings and looked over to Wolf.
"Husband this is my gift to you." She said handing Wolf the box.
"I know it's not fancy like other jewelry you possess but I thought the gold stone that's embedded resembled my eyes. I thought you could wear it and it'll remind you of me whenever we are parted." Anastasia said shyly as he opened the box.
He just stared at it and Anastasia thought he didn't like it so she rambled on.
"I-I have one too. The band matches yours but the stone on mine is red.. it resembles your eye color. I-if we are ever parted I will look at it and remember you." She said tucking a strand of hair behind her ear she was becoming embarrassed by his silence.
When she looked up Wolf was staring at her but as always she couldn't predict what he was thinking. Until he did something she never thought would happen to her.
His muscular hand wrapped its way around her waist pulling her into his chest. Their faces were inches apart, and Anastasia could feel his heart thumping against her own.
"H-husband I-." Anastasia was cut off by a pair of soft, wet lips pressing against hers.
Wolf had kissed her!
Anastasia stiffen at the sudden action but he pressed his lips against hers harder making her melt underneath him. He held her up with both arms, their embrace closer and tighter than ever.
Anastasia's mind was blurry and her heart thumped like crazy. She kissed him back taking in his scent. This was her first kiss right after her first date.
Anastasia was on cloud nine because it was now confirmed that they have feelings for each other.
Wolf was breathing heavily and his hands started to wander into different terrain.
She wrapped her arms around his neck leaning her body closer to him. At this point, they were like animals inside the carriage. Anastasia felt Wolf push his tongue into her mouth.
She happily welcomed it twisting and tangling hers with his. Their escapade must have gone on longer than they thought because when the carriage stopped they were in front of the palace.
The doorman knocked on the door causing them to break apart to catch their breath. Anastasia was redder than a tomato her hair and clothes were a mess Wolf looked no neater.
"I've never been gifted a present before I truly appreciate it, little wife," Wolf said giving Anastasia one last peck on the lips.
Anastasia was so happy she smiled and laughed she was taken off the carriage bridal style and they entered the palace together.
Anastasia laid on her head in between his neck as he made his way to their chamber. She was anticipating what was to come next after their heated kiss in the carriage she was pondering other thoughts.
