Chapter 26.

**

He left the meeting immediately and headed for the office. Zhi Ruo texted him that both Chu Hua and his aunt were waiting for him in the office. Which was not good. They were not enemies nor friends.

Chu Hua has never complained about  his aunt and vice versa. But when ever they were alone, they would argue over one thing or the other.

"Boss?" Zhi Ruo called. She stood closed to his door.

"When did my wife came?" He asked , looking through the window to see if they were still in there.

"She came about thirty minutes ago. I am sorry I let her in… I couldn't prevent.." Zhi Ruo started stammering. If any one had to face the boss's anger, it's would be Chu Hua.

"Is not in your position to prevent her" Li Lian corrected her. No matter the difference he was having with his wife, he was not going to allow any one to look down on her. "You should have informed when she came."

"I am sorry, boss" Zhi Ruo curtsied.

"Go back to your office" The boss said, as he walked in to the office with a frown. He was still angry with his wife fir last night.

"Welcome Yima" Li Lian said walking towards his aunt. Ah lam stood up and went for a hug. Finally he came back to his office. "Zhi Ruo just informed me that you are here. Why didn't you call?"

"She told me that you were in a meeting. I did not see the need to disturb the young CEO" Ah Lam replied with a smile. Li Lian reminded her of her lost son. He took care good care of her and Yang Mi.

"Good morning , Lian" Chu Hua spoke for the first time ever since he entered the office. She knew he was ignoring her. Why must he wash their dirty clothes in public?

Li Lian frowned at her voice. Although he was backing her, he knew that Chu Hua was trying to get his attention. Turning to her , he asked "Why have you come?"

She sighed. He was going to display that bad attitude in front his aunt, making the old woman feel special. "We need to talk , Li Lian. You left the house early and without your breakfast. I brought something for you."

Li Lian walked to his seat and sat down. There was a heap of files on the table. He needed to sign them before next week. Some of the documents were from the site, where he wanted to buy his dream story house.

"There is no need for that. Zhi Ruo brought food for me , before I left for the meeting" he replied, without looking at her.

"Really? She did not inform me about it. I mean the new development. Your secretary is now your cook" Chu Hua grinned. It was obvious that Zhi Ruo wanted to take her place. But Li Lian supporting her ? This was odd. Was it just revenge or He has fallen for another woman just like his little brat , Li Qin said.

"Chu Hua, go back home" The young master raised his head up and looked at her. His eyes were normal, which means her talks did not have any effect on him. "Li Xian will be back soon. I don't want him to be at home alone."

"Li Qin is at home with Muqin. He won't be lonely" Chu Hua said, looking at Ah Lam whose head was bent low. Did their conversation irritated her that much? "Let's talk about last night , my love."

He glared at his aunt who was not looking at them. Chu Hua was wasting his time. He had a lot of place to go to "I said go back home. Don't make me angry."

Li Lian's hand were forming in to a fist. Chu Hua knew that he meant it this time. She had no choice than to obey that which he commanded "I am sorry. I will go back to my business."

"Go home and wait for me , Chu Hua" Li Lian told her. He loved her and that was his weakness. When they first got married, he did not want to stay with a woman older than him. But now, love sprang from nowhere like a disease and only him,  got infected.

"Bye Aunt, I will love to see you again" Chu Hua got up from the sofa and took her bag. The way Li Lian looked at her was quite annoying. The frown he had earlier was still present. She walked to the door and knocked. One of the guards, who were standing outside opened it.

Li Lian sank in to the chair. Finally Chu Hua left. She brought unhappiness to his office. Actually he prefer seeing her beg for his attention.

"You should forgive her , Li Lian" Ah Lam Interrupted his thoughts. His expression showed that he was not ready to forgive yet. "Or do you have another woman somewhere else?"
