Marva, the capital of the kingdom of Aran

A few days had passed since that incident in Denzel province, I tried to empty my mind but those words just kept ringing in my mind.

"Don't let these thoughts flood your mind Elora, focus!" I convinced myself in an attempt to calm down.

I continued on my way to Marva, I would have to find my grandmother's acquaintance as soon as possible.

With resolution shining in my eyes, I continued my journey with conviction.

"Finally, after nearly three weeks of walking, I arrived in Marva!" I sighed with emotion as I recognized the magnificent capital of Aran.

The houses on the outskirts were perfectly aligned, no more than three stories tall, the town gate was well designed, with curves and designs that only helped to promote its truly breathtaking splendor.

I got in line for entry and not long after it was finally my turn.

"Three silver coins, if you don't have it get out!" Said an apathetic voice from the cabin at the city gate, I paid regardless of the rudeness and continued on my way without interruption.

Marva was really fantastic, it was a well-planned city, it was divided into two sections north and south, where the properties of the Royal Family were located in the south and to the north, which was subdivided into the noble area, the commercial area and middle class area, it was aligned in three sections horizontally. Just at the south entrance was the middle-class residential area, followed shortly after by the commercial area and, finally, the prime area near the Royal Family section, away from the plebs of course.

I walked around the area near the entrance until I found someone who could provide me with information.

"Excuse me, may I ask how I can get to Lily of the Valley Restaurant?" I asked as I approached a resident who was walking nearby.

"Oh sure! Lily of the Valley Restaurant has a great reputation here in Marva, you're probably a newcomer right?"

"Yes, could you let me know how to get there?" I responded with a patient smile to the young man I asked for help, but inside I was regretting having bumped into a likely chatterbox.

"Of course, of course! I'm heading in the same direction, we can walk together!" He said with a warm smile.

We talked on the way, or more accurately, he did and I listened the entire way. The boy's name was Arthur, he was also seventeen and, according to his autobiography of life that he had been reciting to me since the moment we met, he and his family had always lived in Marva, he would study at the Royal Academy of Marva as soon as the new year started, he likes sweet things, light and warm colors, furry animals, going out with his friends, anyway...

Going back to Arthur, he was taller than me, probably 1.80 m, with short caramel hair and light eyes that matched his eyes, he had an athletic build, admirable for his age, had a warm vibe that made people approach him unconsciously, he was probably the center of attention wherever he went, in other words, the kind of person I hate the most! But I kept my characteristic smile hiding my emotions from the young man who did me the favor of guiding me to my destination.

Arthur wore brown leather clothes sewn with a lining to keep his body warm as it was midwinter, although the north was warmer the temperature was close to negative.

We walk through the commercial area until we reach the restaurant at the end of one of the streets further east.

The restaurant had a rustic and noble air, in its well-designed facade was a black plaque adorned in golden lines, with a beautiful calligraphy written 'Lily of the Valley Restaurant' and a drawing of a white lily on the right side completing the design.

"We've arrived!" Artur said with a smile "Welcome to the Lily of the Valley Restaurant!"
