The Baptism (part 02)

Elora's point of view:

I also bowed and with the others we saluted the Moon Goddess's descent on this occasion.

Lifting my gaze and observing her carefully, I noticed that her figure looked delicate and her silver eyes emanating a sense of purity and benevolence.

At the same time she also looked at me and a beautiful smile full of kindness and compassion formed on her face.

"I see that the next Matriarch will have a bright future ahead of her" She said in a clear, melodious voice. "I have blessed you, one of my daughters, that her future is clear and full of achievements, troubled times are approaching and I will have to give them the mission to maintain peace and order across the lands of the Five Kingdoms"

"I, Elora, as the next Matriarch of the Aires Family, accept and honor your will, as well as our progenitress, we will continue to fulfill our mission, observing the balance of all things and maintaining order during chaos" I replied solemnly.

The Goddess nodded slightly upon hearing my words and approached lightly.

Coming in front of me, she leaned in slightly and kissed my forehead.

At the spot where the kiss lay, three petals that resembled a lotus formed and at the same time all of my hair began to change color to a beautiful, shiny silver-white.

The whole place was silent and it was as if just the two of us were there, time seemed to stop and, noticing that anomaly, I turned to the Moon Goddess with a questioning look.

"Don't worry, I brought you to a separate space time." She said lightly as she noticed my gaze.

"This is the only way to tell you something without other Gods knowing and I believe it will be important for what's to come"

"We Gods cannot normally interfere in the things of the world and only with apostles like you can we keep everything under control"

"A warning I want to give you is that there are also evil Gods who roam the worlds and chaos in search of a way to be reborn and everything that is about to happen could be related to one of them"

"Even though we are gods, we don't have control over everything and we can't tell you everything either, so it's still up to you so that chaos doesn't reign in these lands again"

"Look for distant and forgotten ruins, there may be an answer to all your questions there"

"Now I will have to say goodbye, our time is short and I wish you success in your walk, I'm sure you will be a great leader"

"I appreciate the Goddess's warning and praise" I thanked, make a bow slightly.

When I turned my gaze forward, her figure was already disappearing and everything around her was back to normal.

I fell into deep thoughts as I remembered her words as I once again bowed me down completing the christening ceremony.

It seemed there was still a lot to discover and the hidden forces that ruled it all weren't simple.

Down the stairs I walked back towards my mother and the others, it was time to officially end the event.
