Chapter 30: Dream

*Earthland, Ishgar, Fiore*

*April 15, Year 772*

*Morning*

I got up and wash my face at the sink, then went inside the space to get ingredients only to be blocked by Sebastian.

"How could you be so cruel and leave me inside the space? I've always wanted to go out and see the world again after thousands of years."

I replied with a wry smile.

"Okay, I'll take you out after I'm done gathering ingredients."

I pick a few eggs and see that the hive of crystal bees has just started I did not take honey from them.

I decided to name them crystal bees since the honey they produce is crystal-like and they collect nectar from crystal flowers.

I and Sebastian went out of space and I started preparing breakfast.

As I prepared breakfast which are pancakes, by the way, I smiled helplessly as Sebastian looked at the window outside with shining eyes.

After I was done cooking pancakes I called Sebastian over for breakfast.

"Sebastian, let's eat breakfast."

Like a starving ghost, Sebastian rushed over to the table and waited for me to serve the pancakes.

Poking the pancake with a fork Sebastian showed a curious expression.

"What do you call this fluffy food?"

"It's called a Pancake, It is made of flour mixed with eggs and cooked on a buttered pan over medium heat. It's usually paired with honey but sadly I don't have any honey in stock."

"The flavor is generally sweet, why don't you try it?"

Hearing that the flavor is sweet Sebastian's eyes shined brightly, Well it seems that this guy has a sweet tooth.

After eating breakfast, We headed for the Guild.

We bumped into Cana and Gildarts on the way and we decided to go to the guild hall together.

Gildarts looked at Sebastian and asked.

"So, who is this guy?"

"He's a Butler I met in one of my missions, I hired him since his last master fired him."

"Why do you need a butler anyway?"

"Well I bought a piece of land outside the town and I'm planning to transform it into a square with restaurants, hotels, cafes, etc. But I need to expand the land I bought so I'm planning to take on more missions to complete this dream and be financially stable and retire."

Gildarts popped a vein hearing the word 'retire'.

"You brat, look at me I'm this old and strong yet I'm still not retired. Why would you even retire anyway?!"

I stopped in place and raised my hand and clenched towards the sky.

"Of course, its to explore this magnificent world! I want to see if there are fairies, dragons, giants or even god in this world."

I turned towards them and smiled.

" I want to see what else is there."

Sebastian stayed in place, as we started to walk towards the guild hall again.

[3rd P.O.V] ( I want to try 3rd pov)

In Sebastian's eye John's figure seem to overlap with someone, those gesture and words they all seem to similar to him.

The figure wave and smiled at Sebastian and shouted.

"Sebastian! Are you coming or not?"

Sebastian came out of his thinking and shouted. " Wait for me!"

Sebastian thought, let me accompany you on your journey to explore the world, I want to see if you can remake those glory.

John smiled as they reached the guild hall, he turned to Sebastian and asked.

"Why are you so slow? What are you thinking in the middle of the road?"

Sebastian shook his head, smiled and said." I was thinking of the memories of the past."

Good guy! Give him a cup of wine and he can say one of the most famous words.

'Osmanthus wine taste the same as I remember, but where are those who share the memory.'

"Look Gildarts is going to the second floor again!"

" Is he gonna take an S-class, SS-class quest? Or another decade quest?"

"Of course! It must be another decade quest!"

John and the others turned their head to the second floor of the guild hall, A place only the S-class wizards of Fairy tail can set foot on.

It is said that every S-class and above quests money rewards easily start with millions of Jewels and not to mention the other rewards that are not mentioned on the quest paper.

The crowd waited with excited faces thinking what job their ace took this time.

A few minutes later Gildarts walked down from the second floor with a piece of paper in his hands, he then walked to Makarov to get the job stamped.

Seeing that Gildarts is finished taking the quest someone finally couldn't help but ask.

"Hey, Gildarts what level did you chose? An S-class? SS-class?Or a Decade quest?"

Gildarts showed a grinned and said." Of course, it must be a decade quest."

Hearing that it is a decade quest, the crowd cheered.

Then all of fairy tail partied until dusk, John and the others sneaked out of the party and headed to Gildarts house.

When they arrived, they saw Gildarts packing up for the trip tomorrow.

John patted Gildarts on the waist and said. "Why are you, the protagonist of the party here of all places? And packing up on top of that, What are you gonna sneak out and not say good bye to us?"

Cana nodded with a pout. "Yeah how could you do this to us, leaving without saying good bye? Do you want me to ignore you for a year?"

Hearing that Cana will ignore him for a year, Gildarts hurriedly waved his hands and explained.

"No no, I'm not leaving yet I'm just packing up for the journey tomorrow, I'll say proper good bye at the morning."
