Chapter 39: It's nice to be rich

Inside a hall in a big mansion gathered many people with different attires some wore armor while some wore nearly nothing.

The variety of people here are adults, teens, and even a kid! But all of them had one thing in common: they seemed to be waiting for someone.

After a while, the door to the hall opened which attracted the attention of everyone present.

Walked in is an old man with white hair dressed in a butler outfit.

"Thank you all for waiting I assumed that all of you still did not eat breakfast so have some first."

After saying that the old man clapped his hands and then a group of maids pushed in 3 carts full of food and started serving them to the people inside.

While the people were eating the old man started to explain the details of the mission.

"You all must have read the description when taking this job, so your job is to protect the young master while we're in the forest."

"And knowing my young master's likes he will most likely hunt for monsters inside the forest so you must protect the young master, while still ensuring that he can successfully hunt a monster."

After that, he went on to talk more about the precautions needed while being with the young master of the Fuji clan.

Seated on a table in a corner John and Sebastian listened to all of this while eating pancakes that were served.

"These pancakes are so sweet and delicious do you think I can ask for the recipe for this?" Sebastian asked while eating pancakes with a smile.

"I don't know but if you can get the recipes for pancakes here we can add that to the breakfast menu at the restaurant."

At the same time, they were about done eating the old butler was also done explaining things that needed to look out for.

He then invited all of the wizards present to follow him to a carriage to go toward their destination.

Looking at the huge tent in the middle of the camp and the thirty or so tents that surround it John can only shake his head and sigh.

If only he has this much money how good could it be to just commission the hunting of A-level monsters and then have an army of A- level monsters?

It would be even better if he could commission S-rank monsters with a puppet of that level he can surely be near S-rank worthy right?

Because it's about to be nighttime when they arrive at their camping spot the servants that the young master brought is busy arranging ingredients for tonight's dinner.

Looking at the sculpture in his hands that he made because he was bored, he was about to put it inside his space when a voice interrupted him.

"What a fierce and cool-looking sculpture would you mind selling this to me, little brother?"

John looked up and saw that it was the target of protection for this job- Isshiki Fuji.

Isshiki Fuji is a boy about 12 in age wearing blue pants, and a white shirt with a black vest on top of the shirt while adorning multiple pieces of jewelry on his body from gem rings to gold necklaces and bracelets.

Isshiki was looking at the sculpture of the blizzardvern with shining eyes touching the realistic-looking scales to feel the rough texture.

The more Isshiki looked at this sculpture the more he liked it.

"Name your price boy and I will buy this sculpture from you."

"I really don't know the pricing of sculptures but if you like this one I can give it to you." John said while scratching his head.

"No no how can I take advantage of you, how about this I'll just pay you 10,000 Jewels okay?"

Afterward, without waiting for John's opinion he called a maid over and asked her to get some money which she sent over after a while.

While looking at the sculpture in his hands Isshiki asked John.

"Tell me boy what is this mighty monster called?"

John had black lines all over his head thinking that it's really nice to be rich you can be so wilful.

It doesn't matter if you don't know what you are buying just as long as you like it.

But he had no choice but to tell Isshiki this clueless rich man about blizzardverns.

All that he can really say is it's nice to be rich.
