Ornn

The young man took the piece of paper, and seeing that what was written on it was his father's signature, he said to John.

"Wait for a while." After saying that, the young man took the paper and went upstairs to hand the paper to Merlin presumably.

John waited for a while, then the young man went back downstairs and invited John upstairs, John nodded and went upstairs with the young man.

Upon reaching the second floor, he was guided by the young man to a living room, where a fat man was seating in front of a table.

The fat man smiled when he saw John, he gestured for the seat in front of him and said. "Have a seat, John."

"I thought that you would never visit me or even forgot about me completely since it's been two years since we last met." Merlin said as he shot a look at the young man, and the young man nodded and went out of the room.

"It's because I did not have a reason to go to the capital until now." John said as he rubbed the back of his head with a smile.

"Yeah, you must be pretty busy, after all, Mr. Hades is quite known for quick and efficient jobs in the mage world." Merlin said with a teasing smile, which caused John to be slightly embarrassed.

"hahahaha, it's just the words from other people." John gave a dry laugh trying to sound humble.

And then the door opened to reveal the young man from earlier walking in with a tray which he set on the table.

On the tray are a few plates of sweet pastry, and a pot along with two cups, he then put the two cups in front of Merling and John, then poured them a cup of coffee.

Just as the young man was about to put sugar blocks into the coffee, John stopped him and said. "I'll do it myself."

The young man nodded and once again went out of the room, John then took three sugar blocks and added them to his coffee, and he stirred it to melt the sugar blocks, he took a sip and nodded in satisfaction at the taste.

"It seems that you like your coffee sweet, now tell me why did you come to the capital, John?" Merlin asked straightforwardly, to which John answered.

"I'm here to find a good blacksmith, and since you've been living here for a lot of time, you should know some good places right?"

"This... I may have lived here for a long time, but I don't generally have contact with blacksmiths since we're in different industries."

"But, there is one famous guy on the west side of Crocus, I'm not sure if he's up to standard but you can check up on him, his name is Ornn."

"His shop is somewhere on the main streets on the west side of Crocus, it had giant horns at the signboard, you'll know what I'm talking about when you see it." Merlin said with a smile as he took a sip of his coffee.

John nodded as he finished his coffee and took a bite of some of the sweet pastries, after all that, he stood up and bid farewell to Merlin.

"Well, then I'm off Merlin, I'll see this Ornn guy you talked about."

"Your welcome to come back anytime, I'll even offer you a discount when purchasing items here." Merlin waved his hand to say goodbye.

Then John went out of the grocery store as he went to the west side of Crocus, while walking a shout from the back caught his attention.

"John is that you?!" A black witch hat came into his sight, then a huge body of a young man with brown hair carrying a paint brush and a palette.

"Oh, Reedus, why are you here, are you performing a quest in Crocus?" John asked with a smile looking at Reedus in front of him.

Reedus Jonah is a user of pict magic that allows the user to manifest whatever he painted into reality albeit for a period of time only.

While he appeared in most of the arcs of Fairy Tail, he wasn't that relevant in the later parts of the story, but, he was fun to hang out with when John met him personally.

"No, it's my turn to guard the hotel today along with some other members of the guild, it's my break time so I planned to tour around Crocus." Reedus said as he pointed to a tall building in the central streets of Crocus.

"Oh, guarding the hotel. Wait! I completely forgot the guild has a hotel in Crocus that will let guild members stay for free!" John shouted thinking why did he spend that much money on renting an inn when he could have just stayed at the hotel for free?

Good thing is that he only paid for two days since he didn't think that he'll spend more time than that, which meant that he could just move to the hotel if he needed to spend more time than he expected.

"How about you John? Why are you here for? We didn't receive any letters from the master that he'll send another one to guard the hotel." Reedus asked curiously.

"I'm here this time to look for a great blacksmith to forge for some things for my puppet." John answered. "I heard from when I was asking about, that a guy named Ornn is a great blacksmith to entrust matters into."

"Ornn? You can trust that guy when it regards forging, as he is the one that made most of the top-notch wizards equipment, especially for those that use weapons to fight." Reedus said as he complimented Ornn's skill in making equipment.

John nodded as he bid farewell to Reedus to continue heading towards the west of Crocus to look for Ornn's shop.

He then arrived at the main street on the west side of Crocus, he's now standing before a huge store, with a sign that has huge horns adorned to it, with the words ' Forger of Myths' engraved on it.

'This guy sure is arrogant with his store's name, I just hope that he has the skill to match it.' John thought as he walked into the store.

What greeted his sight is a regular store with a receptionist sitting behind a counter as she introduced the shop's services to different customers, apart from that, there was nothing else inside other than a huge black iron gate on the side.

John lined up as he waited for his turn, a few more minutes later, it was finally his turn, the receptionist smiled at him as she asked. "Hello, sir, is it your first time here?"

Just from this service alone, John had to rate this store 5 stars already, just look at that great professionalism, you won't get that from any run-off mill stores.

"Yes, it's my first time here, is it that obvious?" John asked wondering how she was able to guess that it was his first time here.

"Well, you keep looking at the giant gates when you walked in here, and it's because I've never seen you before that's why I know it's your first time here." Anna said, how was he able to get her name?

It's pinned to her right chest, an ID that says, Anna. She then started to tell him the instructions needed to be followed.

"Anyway, let's get into business, for first timers like you, you need to get a number tag from me and come back a few days later when it's finally your turn, as for how will you know it's finally your turn?"

"The tag will glow in a red light, when it does, it's your turn to go here and asked for what you want to be forged."

"And before you ask anything else, no, the number tags are not free, and it costs 1 million Jewels for one."
