Collège de St. Cyr

Capricorn Wing

Moon in Capricorn - Waxing Crescent

The room feels stuffy, today, it's hard to breathe. Maybe it's just me, or perhaps it's the concentrated energy the students seem to have. Everyone working to their best capacity, discussing hypothesis based on theories men and women long dead tried to prove. They discuss magic like others discuss literature, and it's beautiful to listen to them. It's beautiful to see their brains open and expand, grow and mature, form thoughts of their own that catapult them into different levels. That make them shine. I can understand Darren's love for teaching, and how rewarding it is. But I'm still a researcher at heart, and it aches to be back in a lab trying to come up with something palpable, something real. Not just ideas thrown into the wind.
