Moon in Virgo - Waning Crescent
We wake up refreshed and rested, greeted by a lavish brunch spread out on the kitchen peninsula. Ezra seems to have pulled all the stops, but then I notice the clock. It's almost twelve p.m., close to lunchtime. Alec, who seems to be in girl mode today, has applied careful make up to her face, hiding the bruises behind a thick coat of foundation and compact powder, her swollen lips covered in red lipstick that only makes her look sultrier and sexy. I'm momentarily taken aback by how good she looks, and as I notice Ezra eyeing her up and down, jealousy takes the best of me and turns my moods to a bitter scowl. Seeing Ezra with Alec is mind-blowing, right now. After everything, this is uncanny, it's awkward, gut-wrenching. But at the same time, endearing. He's so careful of her, so protective, and I find myself following his lead, treating Alec as if she's a rare crystal that might break.
