"That brightness follows from their inward fire, that fire from vision. And their sight extends as far as each, beyond their due, has grace."
-Dante Alighieri, The Divine Comedy
As soon as the Eurynomos vanished two Watchers appeared at my side, each grabbing my arm, and started dragging me towards the door.
"Where are you taking me? I demand to speak to Asmodeus!" I shouted. I obviously passed his stupid magical test, so that must have meant something. Everyone including Mammon had been telling me I was special, but no one was ready to reveal why.
Now I had proven to the great Asmodeus that I was much more powerful than any other mongrel that had ever entered hell.
"The master has other matters he has to take care of. You have been sold off," the dark-haired Watcher stated and kept squeezing my arm harder. They led me through the long torch lit corridors.
