Balthazar asked with a frown.

"It was Lilith."

"Wait. What?!"

Balthazar asked in disbelief.

"Haa~ I apologize. But I think I have misheard you, Cale. Who was it again?"

Balthazar tried to hide his astonishment with a smile.

"You didn't mishear me, Balthazar. It was her."

"No way! We sealed her. You are telling me, she broke the seal?!"

"Yes."

"No way… We need to summon the other guardians right now. I have no idea why I didn't see her in the forest. But she might come here any minute now!"

"She won't."

"Huh?"

"She is dead."

Johannes said with a voice filled with hatred. And it was the first time in years since Johannes talked to Balthazar. So Balthazar was surprised when he did. Even Cale.

"What?! D-Dead?"
