Chapter 10: The Welcoming Ceremony (Part 19)

"What should I do? I don't think he will come here today either."

I mumbled, looking at the snowfall in a daze.

'Aghh. He doesn't even look me in the eyes when we meet at breakfast or dinner.'

I thought clenching my fist. It makes me kind of angry. Even though it's my fault for running away from him that day.

'Well, whatever. This can't continue forever. If he doesn't come to me, I will go to him. Just you wait, Leonus. Tomorrow, I will make you look at me, no matter what.'

'For that, I had to look my best.'

Thinking so, I got out of the balcony and threw myself in bed. I was busy the whole day preparing for the ceremony tomorrow. So I was physically exhausted.

'I never thought about it before. However, this bed is really huge. And honestly, it feels empty without him.'
