"Absolutely. It's… Breathtaking…"

I said looking at the exploding fireworks.

Hearing Leonus's mumbling, I turned my head towards him. Instead of the fireworks, Leonus was looking at me without blinking.

"Huh? What are you talking about, Princess?"

"I apologize for running away from you that day. I didn't… I didn't mean to upset you. I…"

Surprised, Leonus looked at me with widened eyes.

'He must have thought I hated him. Is he surprised that I apologized? Did he think that I wouldn't? Honestly, if it was the previous, I wouldn't have even imagined apologizing. Haa~ Everything is my fault. Why? Why was I so timid? And why am I still so powerless?'
