Azleza couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Leonus coming into her room with dark red eyes the previous night. She couldn't help casting her mana to Leonus right away. 

However, Leonus stopped her in the middle and asked her to check on Isabella. It was late at night. Hearing such a request at that time, Azleza couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding. And then she noticed the redness under his eyes. 

'Had he been crying?'

Azleza couldn't think of anything else and rushed towards Isabella's room. 

'Did something happen to Bell? Goodness! What am I supposed to do if Leonus… No. No. No. He would never hurt her! But his eyes… Ughh! D*mn it all!'

Thousands of worst-case scenarios were swirling inside Azleza's mind. 

Even though it was for a little bit, Leonus drained a lot of Azleza's mana. So she was out of breath while sprinting down the hallway.
