"Professor, Why does everyone bow at the mere sight of you? Are you some form of Baron or nobility in this place?"

I asked while carefully eating the cotton candy.

The professor chuckled softly before replying. "That's right. I passed the title down to my son."

I stopped eating and looked at the professor with widened eyes.

The Professor laughed heartily. "Of course I do. Did you assume I didn't?"

I sheepishly nodded, feeling embarrassed. "Well, you always seem to stay at the academy, so I just assumed..."

"Ah, I see," he nodded knowingly. "My wife, Alexa, is always angry with me for that. I wonder how long she'll stay mad at me this time."

"Alright. Why not pay a visit to my mansion?"

"Huh? But I didn't prepare any gift."
