Leonus began, but before he could continue, Theobald cut him off mid-sentence.

Theobald's voice boomed through the room, demanding attention.

Theobald mumbled in a despondent tone as he made his way to his desk and sank into his chair.

He let out a long, weary sigh before finally turning his gaze towards Leonus.

"So… What is it that you want to say?"

"Regarding the marriage arrangement, I agree to-"

"That's not possible! (>⌓<) The marriage arrangement is already… … Wait… (⁠・⁠_⁠・⁠;⁠)" Theobald's voice cut through Leonus' words, but as the realization of what Leonus had just said sank in, Theobald's voice trailed off and his face contorted into a look of disbelief.

"What… Did you say?"(⁠・⁠–⁠・)
