Aria

She was more or less getting all the attention in the open pavilion even though she was just sitting with a cup of tea in the background. The sound of birds and the waves crashing against the rocks was deafening.

While wearing a white transparent tunic, her beautiful waist was visible through the thin fabric, as was her milky white, full bosom with a deep cleft. The wind played with her long silver-white hair, and the warm breeze passed through her short, figure-hugging white tunic with ease, caressing her skin.

With her deep violet eyes, full lips, and silver-white hair she was a goddess in every sense of the word. Her aura was full of Cellestrial Qi, creating a sparkling aura. Her hair shimmered in silver from time to time and with cold and indifferent arrogance, she watched the spectacle before her.

"Welcome to this year's banquet with the Golden feather sect," said a man loudly. He was dressed in the Golden Feather sect's ceremonial clothes.

The Gold Feather sect was one of the five major sects in the Wind region on the continent called Altara., which lay south of the Wind Mountains. The sects divided the land between them and were roughly equal in strength and power. The other four were the Dragon Sky Sect, the Sword Wind Sect, the Fireland Sect, and the Snow Mist Sect. The land south of the Wind Mountains and the South Sea was called the Wind Land. It wasn't very windy so no one really knew why it was called the Wind Land.

In addition to the five big sects, there were a larger number of smaller sects of lower rank and one immortal sect that had almost no followers, the Yinpai. Many felt that the Yinpai could not be categorized. Was it even a sect? It was more like a god clan.

He turned to Aria and bowed. In a loud voice, he proclaimed. "We are honored to have Aira of the Yinpai here in this humble place. Saint of Light."

And Aria waved lightly in response.

The event was a banquet but more importantly a competition within the Gold Feather sect where the rankings of the disciples were decided. No outsiders were welcome normally, but no one would think to say no to Aria, who had basically invited herself.

The strongest person in the Gold Feather Sect was in the Primary Celestial Deity realm, but both the Sect Leader and the Elders were in the Advanced Soul-Sea realm.

But none of them could compare to Aria who was a Supreme with the cultivation of a Primary Deity Realm. It was equivalent to the power of an immortal, with Primary Moon Realm cultivation.

Suddenly, three men stood up in the pavilion and approached Aria. They were inner disciples of the Golden Feather Sect. And it was evident that they did not know their place, in this hierarchical world where the strong rule and the weak obey.

A buzz went through the crowd. Why are they coming forward in front of the Saint? It created obvious unrest in the crowd.

"I greet you Aria of Yinpai, I am Rexri Blacksnow, the next clan leader of Blacksnow." Blacksnow was one of the three pillars of the Gold Feather sect along with the Vifor and Su families.

"I wish to be your disciple and... and your husband. All women need someone to lean on. And there are few who can match me."

'An uproar of voices cried out. What's he up to, does he have a death wish, He proposes to the saint of light.

He was only a few years older than Aria, handsome and tall with medium-length dark brown hair and grey eyes.

"Please leave me alone." Aria's voice sang. The atmosphere was tense.

"Uh, your disciple needs to be near his master..."

"You are not my disciple and not my husband and never will be. Leave the pavilion." The undertone in Aria's voice was dangerous, but the man apparently missed it.

"This is the Golden Feather sect, I do what I want here."

The other two men looked anxiously at Aria. They must be his guards and had much higher cultivation than the fool. At least peak Nascent Realm. But they were hard to read without using Qi. They must have some kind of treasure that prevented her from getting a clear picture of their cultivation.

"How unfortunate of me. But it was worth it to see your beauty. You will be my woman one day... uh ahh!"

Aria raised her hand and waved two fingers, and the whole pavilion was bathed in Calestrial Qi, which made everyone in the pavilion fall to their knees or crawl on the floor. Bones were broken and one of the guards was crushed into a mass of flesh and bone. Aria knew it was wisest not to kill the fool. Not yet.

"Please spare him. He won't bother you anymore" vowed a man, who managed to stumble slowly forward despite Aria's pressure. The man was one of the sect's elders. Dressed in a white and yellow coat of the finest kind.

"The fool needs to learn his place." Aria looked around the pavilion and, in the next moment the pressure that had weighed everyone down vanished.

"I need to be vindicated. Fool, kill your guard. I want his head."

The horror was reflected in everyone's eyes as they looked at Aria. They looked at her as if she were a demon. But then, they hadn't met Ria.

The guard took a few steps back.

Without hesitation, the elder took and pulled out a saber that glinted in the sunlight. He handed it to the fool and grabbed the paralyzed guard. "Kill him Rexri if you want to live."

"I-I can't... why..." The fool fumbled with the saber and swung at the guard. It was a poorly executed sword stroke, so he had to do it twice before the guard's head detached.
