As Eos and Nephele made their way through the busy streets of the city, they couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched. They knew that the Dragon Sky Sect had many eyes and ears all over the city.
As they turned a corner, they saw a group of people gathered in a small alleyway. The group seemed to be in deep discussion, and as Eos and Nephele approached, they could hear whispers of "Firefly" and "Dragon Sky Sect."
Eos and Nephele exchanged a quick glance, both knowing that they had stumbled upon something big. They edged closer, their footsteps silent as they tried to listen in on the conversation.
"We have to act fast," one of the figures said, their voice low and urgent. "The Dragon Sky Sect is onto us."
"We need to put the plan into action," another figure spoke up. "We can't risk waiting any longer."
"Agreed," a third voice chimed in. "But first, we need to meet the Council."
Eos and Nephele watched as the group dispersed, each member vanishing into the shadows of the alleyway. For a moment, the two of them stood there, unsure of what to do next.
But then Nephele spoke up, determination filling her voice. "We need to follow them. See where they're going."
Eos nodded, and the two of them set off after the group. They followed them through the winding streets of the city, always keeping a safe distance, until they finally came to a run-down building on the outskirts of town.
The run-down building was an old and decrepit structure, with bricks crumbling away from its walls and windows that had been boarded up long ago. A few pieces of debris were scattered around its yard, and a thick layer of dust seemed to cover its facade. The atmosphere around it was eerie and foreboding as if it was warning them away.
Eos and Nephele shared a wary glance, unsure of what to expect inside. They had come this far, and they knew that they couldn't turn back now.
As they pushed open the creaky door, they were hit with the musty smell of old wood and the sound of hushed voices from within.
The inside of the building was dimly lit, with only a few candles flickering on a table in the center of the room. The group they had been following was gathered around the table, their faces tense with worry.
The women were stunning in their tight, low-cut dresses with exquisite beading and sequins. Their hair cascaded in loose curls around their shoulders, further accentuated by dazzling jewelry. The men looked dapper in form-fitting suits, their styled locks held back by slicked-back topknots.
They all had an air of determination about them as if they were willing to do whatever it took to achieve their goals.
As Eos and Nephele stepped further into the room, the group fell silent, their eyes turning towards the newcomers. Eos and Nephele exchanged a nervous glance, wondering if they had made a mistake by following the group here.
But then one of the members spoke up, a woman with fierce eyes and a determined expression.
"What are you doing here? Are you with the Dragon Sky Sect?"
Eos and Nephele shook their heads, and Eos spoke up. "No, we're not with them. We were just following you, trying to see what's going on."
"We heard the word Firefly and Dragon Sky Sect and wondered what their connection was. But I'm beginning to understand why they don't want us here..." Eos didn't finish speaking but was interrupted.
One of the men spoke up, his voice filled with surprise. "You're Eos, the leader of Yinpai's sect?"
As Eos and Nephele stood before the group, they could feel the weight of their gaze. The twelve individuals, six women, and six men seemed surprised and disbelieving as if they were seeing them for the first time.
It was a diverse group, with most members belonging to the Advanced Nascent Realm. However, two individuals stood out as they were in the same realm as Nephele, the Advanced Soul Sea Realm. Despite their differences, all members shared a determined and resolute expression.
Eos nodded, acknowledging the man's statement. "Yes, I am."
"We're the Fireflies," she said, her voice low and urgent. "We're a group that has dedicated to break free from the Dragon Sky Sect. They've been terrorizing our city for too long, and we've had enough."
Nephele's eyes widened in surprise. "You're planning a rebellion?"
"It is already in full swing." Said one of the men.
Eos and Nephele looked at each other, realizing that they had stumbled upon something much bigger than they had anticipated. The Firefly was a rebel group within the Dragon Sky Sect.
One of the men stated the plan. "Our goal is to either establish our own sect or join an existing one, but the Dragon Sky sect will never agree to that. With over one hundred and fifty members, we need a safe haven."
Taking charge, a young woman who appeared to be around twenty-five chimed in. "I've heard rumors that Yinpai was considering a partnership with the Dragon Sky Sect."
Eos interjected, "That idea didn't last long, to say the least."
The woman continued, taking a deep breath before speaking again. "If we can join Yinpai, the Dragon Sky Sect won't dare attack us."
Nephele raised her eyebrows, brushing her bangs aside. "But Yinpai only accepts the chosen ones."
Undeterred, the woman replied, "We're willing to serve Yinpai, as long as we have your protection."
After a moment of silence, Eos finally spoke up. "We'll need to discuss this with the other elders of Yinpai. What are your names and what's your cultivation?"
The room erupted into murmurs of agreement, and the Fireflies looked relieved at the prospect of finally having a safe haven.
The six men and six women stood in front of Eos and Nephele, their expressions serious but their appearance stunning. The four women in the Advanced Nascent realm introduced themselves first, each with their own unique features.
The first was a tall, elegant woman with jet-black hair named Isadora. Her almond-shaped eyes were a deep brown, and her sharp cheekbones gave her an air of regality.
The second was a petite, fair-skinned woman named Rosalind. Her curly blonde hair cascaded down her back, and her blue eyes sparkled as she spoke.
The third was a woman with dark, wavy hair and a fierce gaze named Gwendolyn. Her angular jawline and high cheekbones made her look like she belonged on a battlefield.
The last of the Advanced Nascent women was a woman with long, straight brown hair named Adelaide. Her soft features and gentle demeanor were a sharp contrast to Gwendolyn's.
The two women in the Advanced Soul Sea realm were equally striking. The first was a tall, statuesque woman named Genevieve. Her icy blue eyes and pale complexion were offset by her fiery red hair.
The second was a woman named Eloise, with long, curly black hair and a sultry gaze. Her full lips and curvaceous figure were impossible to ignore.
As for the six men, the two in the Peak Nascent realm were named Edmund and Leopold. Edmund was tall and muscular, with a chiseled jawline and piercing green eyes. Leopold was shorter and stockier, with a thick beard and piercing blue eyes.
The two in the Advanced Nascent realm were named Jasper and Nathaniel. Jasper was a lean, wiry man with sharp features and a hawk-like nose. Nathaniel, on the other hand, was broad-shouldered and ruggedly handsome, with a square jawline and piercing brown eyes.
The last two men were in the Primary Soul Sea Realm. One was a man named Reginald, with a thick mane of curly brown hair and a jovial smile. The other was a man named Percival, with a stern expression and a shaved head that accentuated his sharp cheekbones.
"How many are you in the Golden Core Realm and Qi Realm," Eos asked without specifying to whom.
"Most are in the Qi Realm but about 30 are in the Golden Core Realm," Eloise said. Her voice was soft and mesmerizing.
After discussing the situation for about half an hour, a provisional agreement was signed.
As Nephele and Eos prepared to leave the run-down building, Eos couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. It was risky, but if they were able to bring the Fireflies under their wing and get some extra protection and labor force to the Yinpai.
Now it was just a matter of finding Ciri.
As they stepped out of the building, Nephele turned to Eos with a look of concern on her face. "Do you think it's wise to bring the Fireflies into Yinpai? What if they're still collaborating with the Dragon Sky Sect."
Eos shook her head. "We'll have to vet them thoroughly before we bring them in. But if they're willing to serve us, it's a risk we'll have to take. I don't think they will agree to bind themselves with spiritual slave soul contracts."
Nephele nodded in agreement, and the two of them set off toward the outskirts of the city. They had to find Ciri as soon as possible before the Dragon Sky Sect caught wind of the rebellion and started cracking down on dissidents.
As they walked, Eos couldn't help but think about Nephele and Ciri's voluptuous bodies. Images of their ample bosoms and the naked, well-turned outer parts of their asses kept flashing in his mind, making his pants feel tighter.
He tried to push the thoughts away, but they kept creeping back into his mind. He had always been attracted to beautiful women, but there was something about both of them that made him feel different. He couldn't put his finger on it, but he knew he wanted them both.
As they walked through the busy streets, Eos couldn't help but notice the women around him. They all seemed to pale in comparison to Ciri and Nephele. He could feel his heart racing as he imagined what it would be like to have them in his arms.
Nephele noticed the look on his face and raised an eyebrow. "Is everything okay?" she asked, concern in her voice.
Eos shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts. "Yeah, I'm fine," he said quickly.
