108. The Hairpin

Aruna smiled and walked back to her bed. She approached the man's body with his eyes closed. She carefully reached his hand, slowly slipped under his hand, and placed her head on his shoulder. Then, she brought his big hand back, making him embrace her in his sleep.

The pregnant woman closed her eyes, still wanting to be near her husband. Since the attack that injured her happened and realizing that there was a baby in her stomach, she was increasingly reluctant to be away from her husband. She hugged Mahendra back, slowly tracing the skin of his broad chest as it raised up and down in rhythmical breath. 

"My Lady," Ratna interrupted Aruna, who was enjoying being clung to the warm body she wished more and more to always be by her side. Reluctantly, her mouth twitched because she had to turn to look at Ratna.
