Five months later...

...Beatrice is trying to keep calm as she's going into labour! Beerus is downstairs with everyone else as Beatrice starts making her way downstairs.

"Beerus, dear, it's time!" Beatrice says before wincing

Beerus and Chi-Chi race to help Beatrice downstairs and to the couch. As if on cue, Doctor Jenkins arrives and joins them.

"Right, Beatrice and Beerus, come with me and bring Elise with you." Jenkins instructs

Soon after, Beatrice and Beerus follow Jenkins to her van, with Elise. After getting into their seats and, somewhat, fastened in Jenkins starts driving to the hospital and soon arrives. Beerus and Jenkins then help Beatrice to the nearest hospital room and onto the bed. Beatrice is quick to fall asleep as her magic changes her clothes accordingly. Beerus is baffled by Beatrice being asleep.

"Why has Bea gone to sleep?" Beerus asks

"Some Spellcasters give birth in their sleep, not by choice. This is because their magic is assisting with the birth and can't help with the birth while the Spellcaster is awake. This also means that they feel less pain in the process but the feelings would still be the same, only happening while they're asleep."

Beatrice then takes hold of Beerus' hand and squeezes as another contraction occurs, with Beatrice wincing in her sleep. After around fourteen hours, Beatrice gives birth to two healthy girls and slowly awakens, noticing them. Ecstatic, Beatrice asks for one baby while Beerus holds the other.

"Congratulations, you're now the parents of two healthy girls. Have you thought of their names?" Jenkins congratulates, asking

Beatrice and Beerus are soon stuck, trying to pick good names for their girls. Then...

"How about Jade and Rosalie?" Chi-Chi suggests

"They're perfect, Chi-Chi. Two beautiful names for two beautiful girls." Beatrice responds

After a few hours, everyone is discharged and goes home, to be greeted by Vegeta and Goku.

"You're back!" Vegeta greets

"Umm... hello?" Beatrice greets, asking

"Hey, congrats on the children." Goku responds

"Thanks, meet Jade and Rosalie, our daughters." Beatrice announces

"Daughters?!" Vegeta shouts, asking

"Yep, we've had two girls."

Beatrice then hears something or someone arriving, handing Jade over to Beerus. She goes outside and recognises the individual landing.

"Why hello, Beatrice. Long-time no see." The individual greets

"I'd say the same to you, Frieza." Beatrice responds

The pair then shake hands as Beerus and the others come outside. Vegeta is the first one forward, noticing this.

"You two know each other?!" Vegeta asks

"Yep, Frieza has been my best friend ever since we first met back in my home world." Beatrice responds

"Yes, surprising? Besides, I know about what you did to my friend." Frieza responds

"How do you know?!"

"We've always kept in touch, one way or another. Do you really think I'd keep something like that from one of my closest friends? Oh wait, that's a yes given how you reacted just then." Beatrice answers

"No, I won't fight you. That's in the past. Do I sense younger ones nearby?"

"Yes, they would be my girls, Jade and Rosalie."

"Oh, I neglected to ask, how are you these days?"

"I'm great thank you, happily married with two new children. Do you want to meet the girls?"

"Certainly."

Beatrice then walks ahead, with Frieza following behind and Vegeta keeping a close eye on him. The trio arrive and Frieza notices the girls, both in Beerus' arms.

"Are these the little girls?" Frieza asks

"Yes, Jade and Rosalie."

"I say, they have some resemblance to Beerus."

"That's because I'm the father, Frieza." Beerus responds, becoming protective

"Beerus, calm down. Frieza won't hurt them, will you Frieza?"

"No, any child of my friend has my respect. Say, is Beerus your husband?"

"Yes, that's right. As you can tell, he doesn't take well to enemies of him and the others being near me."

"Yes, I see that."

Soon after, Frieza and Beatrice walk away to catch up as Beerus watches on, cautiously. Chi-Chi comes out and notices this.

"Are you okay, Beerus?" Chi-Chi asks

"I'm doubtful about Frieza and Beatrice being friends, that's all." Beerus answers

"You don't need to worry about those two; they've been friends since meeting in Beatrice's home world. They're more like siblings than anything else and have been close friends for a long time."

Soon after, Beatrice returns to Beerus after sensing his tension and quickly realizing what this is about.

"Beerus, you don't need to worry about Frieza and me. Besides, Frieza is already married, and we only see each other as friends. Before you ask, yes, I understand that Frieza is one of your enemies and part of the reason for your concern. Now please, stop worrying over small things; it's not good for you."

Without further discussion, Beatrice goes back to Frieza, and the two friends continue talking as Beerus (carrying the twins), Vegeta and Chi-Chi go inside. After a while, Beatrice and Frieza say their goodbyes and head back to their respective homes. Soon after entering, Beatrice notices Beerus talking to Chi-Chi, with Goku playing with Jade and Rosalie. Soon after, Beerus stops talking to Chi-Chi and walks towards Jade and Rosalie as Beatrice joins him.

"Beerus, babe, can we talk?" Beatrice asks, sparking Beerus' concerns

"Sure." Beerus responds, bluntly

Soon after, the two spouses go to their bedroom and sit on the bed, closing the door beforehand.

"Beerus, why have you started avoiding me; does this have something to do with my friendship with Frieza?" Beatrice asks, getting to the point

"Yes, this is about your friendship with Frieza; I can't shake the feeling that there's more to it." Beerus admits

"Let me tell you how our friendship started."

Soon after, Beerus looks towards Beatrice, listening intently.

"I was seventeen when we first met and he was, and is still, married. We met whilst I was on study break for two weeks, of which was partially not a break. We'd been spending time getting to know each other and that was when he told me that he's married; I'd also told him about my studies as a budding Spellcaster at the time. I was using wands before I was ready to move onto not needing to use them and Frieza gave me a few ideas to speed up the process; these didn't work, we'd laughed it off and it became an inside joke that we still share now. Eight years passed, we'd become best friends by this point, I wasn't seeing much of Frieza and started growing concerned; that's when I remembered him telling me that he's got a family of his own and I decided to look for another world to live in."

"That's when your former mentor sent you on that mission."

"Yes, that was a few days prior and I'd bent the rules by staying and waiting to catch up with Frieza. When I was sent on that mission, I didn't know that here would be my new home and that the other Spellcasters had wanted me for their own desires; you know what happened when I found out, so I won't go into that. A few weeks after moving here, I started sensing that Frieza was wanting to catch up and couldn't find me; I then used my powers to send him the location of my new home and he'd agreed to meet me in the not-too-distant future. I knew not to get my hopes up too high, since he has a family to look after. Then, a few days before you and I had Jade and Rosalie, I got the message from Frieza that he's coming to visit in a few days."

"Sorry Beatrice, I thought that he was after you, like those Spellcasters were."

"It's alright, besides, Frieza would never do something like that to his best friend. Anyway, how's about we check on Jade and Rosalie?"

"That sounds good to me."

Soon after, the two spouses go downstairs to the communal space, to notice Goku fast asleep with Jade and Rosalie on his abdomen.

"Well, I didn't expect Goku to fall asleep that quickly." Beerus says

"You gave the girls to Goku whilst you went to talk to Chi-Chi?" Beatrice asks, unimpressed

"Yes, that's what's happened, your grace." Whis responds as he enters the room

"Given the already-blown-over situation, you're forgiven, Beerus."

Soon after, everyone separates and does their own activities, bringing a satisfactory end to our first part.
