Chapter 6: school tournament (preliminary rounds)

Zach and his friends had spent the last day of the weekend training, today was the day, the day of the school tournament "I heard the last ranked is participating" A voice said from the crowd "What? Isn't he just gonna get killed?" Another voice replied laughing, Zach looked down to the floor, he was ranked last in the entire school but he wasn't sad, no he was thrilled to finally be able to let loose "Don't listen to them Zach they are just bullies" a voice said breaking him out of his thoughts "Oh it's just you Jack" Zach said looking back down at the floor "Come on the tournament is starting" Jack said running towards the gymnasium as Zach followed closely behind.

"students today is the day you've been waiting for, the day you get to test out your skill and place higher in the ranks, The list of names have already been revealed and don't worry about injuries we have world class medics so don't be afraid to go all out and impress your parents in the crowd, I wish you all the best" The principal said finishing his speech as the students screams of excitement echoed through the gymnasium.

"First round Adam vs Landon" The announcer said as the students got onto the stage "Good luck loser" Landon said cracking his knuckles as Adam stared at him "Whatever baldy" Adam replied pulling out his sword as Landon pulled out his "READY?! START" the announcer yelled as Adam dashed towards Landon striking with lightning fast speed, Landon barely managing to dodge decided to attack from the side getting slashed in the process and bleeding slightly "Good job baldy" Adam said mockingly as he continued to keep slashing Landon, Landon desperate to win decided to use his ultimate move "YOU FORCED ME! HEAVENLY SLASH" Landon yelled out as a aura of light soared through the sky going towards Adam "Nice trick, Dark slash" Adam said as darkness surrounded his blade and a pitch black slash soared through the sky, both slashes colliding creating a blinding light, as the light subsided everyone stared in shock as Landon was on the ground passed out and Adam standing above him putting his sword back into it's cover and walking off the stage medics pulling Landon off the stage to heal him.

"ROUND 2 AIRYL VS EMILIA" the announcer yelled, both Airyl and Emilia specialise is speed the winner will be determined on who has the fastest speed "FIGHT!" the announcer yelled as Airyl already started shooting arrows at Emilia, Emilia dodging it proceeded to sprint at Airyl with her sword in hand "Thanks for the win" Airyl said smiling making Emilia looking at him confused before getting in the stomach and launched off the stage "Get faster before challenging me" Airyl said as he walked off the stage.

"Good Job bro" Adam said smacking Airyl on the back, "Round 3 Jack vs Qusyairi, both students please enter the stage" The announcer called, "You are going down" Qusyairi Said readying his Hatchet "We'll see about that" Jack said getting his shield ready "START!" The announcer yelled as Qusyairi started throwing his hatchet as Jack only for it to be blocked, Jack finding the opportunity to rush towards his opponents threw his shield making Qusyairi dodging it only to be kicked in the head by Jack, Qusyairi getting up grabs his hatchet and proceeded to dash towards Jack swinging aimlessly while Jack blocked it all using his shield finding a pattern of his swings Jack found a opening on Qusyairi's next swing and punched him in the face breaking his nose, ending the battle.

"ROUND 4 ZACH VS KESVIN" The announcer yelled, "I'll go easy on you since your my friend" Kesvin said as he shows off his armour and katana "Okay" Zach replied pulling out his scythe "BEGIN!" The announcer yelled as both students rushed towards each other Kesvin swinging his katana at Zach only to be blocked each time "I hate your scythe skills" Kesvin said before retreating slightly "Thanks I try" Zach said before appearing behind Kesvin and knocking him out shocking the crowd.

The other rounds were pretty one sided Ariff won his round against Theo, Nowfi won against Evan and Sandy won against Taylor, Erick won against Jacob "FOR THE REMAINING 8 STUDENTS THE FINALS WILL START IN ONE MONTH SO PREPARE YOUR EQUIPMENT AND MAKE SURE TO TRAIN HARD, MAKE YOUR PARENTS PROUD" The Principal yelled as the students started walking back home with their parents disappointed that they lost "Looks like the trash got into the finals" Erick said laughing at Zach who just walked away "Don't make fun of him Erick" Sandy said before walking off "If you fight him you'll regret it" Jack said smiling "What do you mean douchebag" Erick said looking at Jack confused "Let's just say your in for a surprise next month" Jack said before walking off with the rest of his friends leaving Erick wondering.

"Sir were almost at Main city" a voice said "Good, let's keep going and make sure to transform fully we don't want to draw attention." The other voice said as the rest assured him they had it "Let's see who inherited master's techniques" The voice said again "Could it be Master's descendant?" A third voice said "IMPOSSIBLE MASTER'S DESCENDANTS WE'RE HUNTED DOWN AFTER HE DIED REMEMBER!" A fourth and much louder voice yelled "Be quite you morons" The 5th voice said smacking all 4 of them.
