Flight 296

Imagine inside a plane on June 26, 1988 and that at 600 feet high and the front trains of the plane stop working and you crash...

Read this small passage so that you analyze well what your theory is going to be.

Air Charter Flight 296 Q was a test flight of an Air France Airbus A320, chartered by Air Charter, at the airshow in Habsheim, Alsace on June 26, 1988. The approach was to take place with the plane at 100 feet, but the plane descended to a lower height than expected and crashed at the end of the runway, killing 3 passengers on board, this being the first fatal accident of an Airbus A320 in the world.

The crew of flight 296 was commanded by Captain Michel Asseline, who was sent to prison for this act and sentenced by the French justice system to 10 months in prison and 10 months of probation.

The official report states the causes of the accident were:

Very low flyover height, lower than surrounding obstacles.

Very low speed, slowing down to reach the maximum possible angle of attack.

Engines at minimum idle flight power.

Late application of go-around power.

This combination led to the impact of the aircraft with the trees.

The Commission assumed that if the descent below 100 feet was not deliberate, it may have resulted from failure to take proper account of the visual and aural information intended to give the height of the aircraft.

If you think about what you think is a correct theory, my theory is that this accident / attack on flight 296 was planned since no plane is allowed to change the front gears, much less if it does not come from a plane similar to Flight 296.

What do you think?
