Nicka deliberately doesn't tell her what she knows about Nina's mother and uncle's scheming. According to him, his new friend doesn't need to know that so he won't hold grudges and harbor hatred for his mother, no matter how bad his mother's behavior is, she is still the woman who gave birth to him whom he must respect and love.
After that incident, Nina occupied her house alone. He is the only heir who inherits the property of his late parents.
"Can we meet again?" asked Nina as they were about to part.
"Of course we will meet if the power allows it. You, you know this picture, that brought me here, now I don't know how I will get back."
Nicka thought hard how she could return to her world. He continued to stare at the painting that looked like Nina who was sitting on a chair alone.
Unknowingly when he touched Nina's image, the painting shone as golden as before giving off a light that followed the past line, expanding and dazzling as much as when he entered Nina's world.
He realized that the golden light would bring him back home.
"Bye Nina, I think I've found my way home. Goodbye and see you again, I hope we can meet again."
"Bye Nick!" Nina replied slowly as she let go of her handshake with a sad face and heavy heart.
"Good friendship does not know any words, other than kindness. If we are lucky, we will meet again," said Nicka.
For a moment the sparkling light made them unable to see anything because of its glare which then slowly faded and brought Nicka back to her world.
When he woke up, he had returned to his room.
It was the middle of the night. Nicka ran to the bed and hid under the covers.
He thought, How could he be in a place he had never been to. And can immediately get to know someone he has never met before, who suddenly can exist and become a picture in his diary.
Really weird!
Nicka was still holding the book and staring at the picture of Nina with a strange feeling, strange because in the picture Nina's position had changed, not Nina who was sitting on the chair as they had seen before, but her position was exactly the same as when she left Nina earlier, stood up and let go of his hand.
Nicka immediately drew back her pen, writing Nina's name right under the picture of her new friend.
He looked back at the picture, wishing it gave off the same light he had so he could get back to Nina. But, when touched, nothing happened as he expected. Until he fell asleep while hugging a book that showed a picture of Nina.
smiling.

This morning, my grandmother didn't wake her up.
My grandmother used to knock on her door. Wake him up for the morning prayer. So is his uncle, what's wrong with the two of them.
Is it because they deliberately let him rest because he hasn't fully recovered after that incident.
Nicka peeked a little from behind the curtain. It was still dark, even though it was brightly lit at Nina's place. He got up and walked to the kitchen. When passing by grandmother's room, she accidentally saw her beloved old woman sitting between two prostrations, with minimal light, holding her hands up with her lips looking to say a prayer.
After he finished drinking a glass of water, he returned to his room. He used to wake up at this hour, because it was his grandmother who used to wake him up, but this time he woke up alone because he didn't hear his voice. No one was there until he saw his grandmother praying in her room.
'Apparently, grandma didn't wake me up on purpose?'
Nicka went back to bed. pulled the blanket up to cover his entire body. Feeling lazy, approached him not to get out of bed and do activities as usual. The green flower-patterned curtain that was dark earlier is now starting to get a little lighter, indicating that the morning light has appeared and wants to greet him.
'Not today I have an appointment with Rani, to watch a basketball game at school. You'll just have to wait for him to call me, then I'll be ready.' mumbled Nicka.
Nick closed his eyes again. But the corner of his eye first caught the photo of Nina from under the blanket. He looked back at her, the events with Nina last night still occupied his mind.
Nicka tried to understand it but the logic wasn't connected either.
It's nine o'clock but Rani hasn't contacted him yet.
'Did Rani really forget our show. See you later, when you meet.'
Tired of waiting, Nicka finally tries to send a message to Rani.
'Damn!! Why can't I contact him, instead of just two days I filled the internet package, the period just ran out.
Hm ... always like this when needed. I'll just wait who knows Rani contacted me.'
From outside Nicka's room heard her uncle's voice. looks like he's talking to grandma. Uncle, who he used to call Uncle Remi was grandma's last son. He works as a driver in a private company engaged in the transportation of food ingredients which are dropped directly to the warehouses concerned.
Usually, his uncle, once a week leaves, if he is at home it means he is off.
But occasionally his uncle became an impromptu driver in his father's company.
Nicka rushed out to meet her uncle, after how many days of that incident she no longer saw her uncle's face.
'Where are they?! Uncle!! Grandma! Uncle!! Grandma!!" Nicka, kept shouting calling for her grandmother and uncle. But they didn't show up.
'Strange! Where are they! Why are those two suddenly out of place, what, they're out?'
Nicka searched the whole room, outside the house too, but the two people she loved were not there.
'Hm ... did uncle take grandma out, but why didn't he take me?"
Nicka, sad but maybe her uncle forgot or was in a hurry.
He decides to go to Rani's house instead. After cleaning up, by riding his bicycle which is a few houses from his house in a different direction from the intersection, he has arrived at Rani's house.
He leaned his bicycle into the yard and knocked repeatedly and greeted him, but no one heard the knocking.
'Strange, where is it, Rani... did she go to school first, did she really forget that she had an appointment with me.' He thought as he dropped his buttocks into the dark blue plastic chair on the terrace.
He sat, waiting for someone to come out of his best friend's house.
The scorching sun began to illuminate half of Nicka's legs, which were stretched out while sitting waiting for Rani, which had almost ten minutes passed, Rani had not yet appeared. So did the rest of his family.
"Where the hell?"
Because she had waited long enough, Nicka decided to leave Rani's house to go to school. Arriving there, it was already seen that all the students were busy watching the basketball game that was taking place.
Nickayla, a student. Attended SMAN Yaradika, grade 12. One school with Rani, her best friend from childhood.
Look, left and right looking for Rani but he did not find the form of his best friend. Everyone is focused on the match. Tired of looking for Nicka, he chose to sit and watch.
Ongoing basketball game.
His eyes fell on his idol player, the school's favorite boy who was liked by many students. The student council president who is handsome, smart and good at basketball is named Pandu.
'Sure, surely all eyes will be on Pandu.' he whispered softly, I don't know who he was referring to. But then his gaze changed direction because he caught another figure that caught his attention who was no less handsome and cool than the idol.
'Who, he, is he a freshman?'
His eyes did not stop following the steps the figure moved, the boy he had seen for the first time.
The eyes that should have been on Pandu turned to look at the boy.
'Unfortunately, Rani isn't around, if anything, I'll definitely get the guy's identity. But where is the child, since the bridge of his nose has not appeared. Is he still home? Did he not come? He might fall asleep again.'
One question after another appeared in Nicka's mind.
He groped his front pocket took out his cell phone and tried to call Rani, but the tone of the call was still the same, just a busy tone!
Tut... Tut... Tut..!!
Immediately turn it off.
Then his eyes fell on another student sitting not far from him.
'That's it, Rachel?!'
Rachel is her classmate.
"Hel!! Rachel!!" he shouted hoping that Rachel would turn to him soon. But Rahel didn't respond at all, Rahel was engrossed in his focus on his cellphone screen and occasionally he smiled.
Nicka then rolled up the tissue she had been holding and then threw it at Rahel but the girl still didn't respond at all, even though the roll landed on her shoulder several times.
'Anjir, who is he chatting with, he's that serious!' he growled.
It doesn't feel like the game is over. Rani did not appear at all. Nicka rushed off the field after her sight lost track of the new student earlier.
Nicka pedaled her bicycle, fifteen minutes of bumps felt faster, usually she stopped in the middle of the road to take a break but this time she didn't feel tired at all.
Arriving at the house he did not see his uncle and grandmother.
After he waited for a long time, he fell asleep on the sofa then woke up and moved to his room after covering all the windows and they didn't show up either.
