Not a stable couple

"What do you mean..." she asked in a murmur, I read the slight distress in her voice as if she couldn't fully understand the danger of my statement. My heart ached even more having to explain to her furthermore that if a man clipped her wings then he wasn't the right man for her. She deserved someone who supported her fully and who didn't act selfishly only because he needed to see her and couldn't endure the distance.

"Joanna... he can't clip your wings, he shall support you and be there for you. He can't complain every time he has the occasion too." I said once again, this time slowly emphasizing each word to make her ponder well my words.

"I know... but he doesn't... I don't know how to feel about this." She sighed, then she sat down letting the vegetables cook on their own and she held her forehead with both her hands.
