Crown Of Clay.

(Nnena, a young woman living in a hit alone. She is sleeping on her bed when she had a dream discussing with the gods but didn't see him. She only hear voices). 


Nnena:(Bows her head) Speak Lord for I'm listening. 


Voice: I want you to have a son for me. 


Voice: You conceive a baby for me so when he is old enough, he will guard the crown of clay. 


Voice: Yes. (The voice made a loud disappearing sound as Nnena woke up from the dream). 


Nnena: Is this dream true? How can I give birth for the gods? (She filled her minds with thoughts as light fades). 


(Early in the morning, Nnena came out to sweep, Suddenly she fell to the ground feeling a little pain in her stomach). 


Voice: It has been done. You will conceive after five months. (Nnena got up to her feet as she now starts to understand the dream). 


(As days goes, Nnena body starts to change as her stomach gets bigger. Nnena with two of her friends outside the hut discussing). 


Ada:(Looking at Nnena stomach so surprised). Nnena who impregnated you? 


Nnena:(Looks at her). If I tell you both, you won't believe so please let's don't talk about it. 


Chioma:(Begs Nnena) Please tell us na? Are we not your friends or is the father to the unborn child inside? 


Nnena: No, the father to this child.. (touching her big stomach) is a spirit which is the gods of the land. (Ada and Chioma laughed). 


Ada: Like seriously, please stop the joke. (Continues to laugh). 


Nnena: I said it you guys won't believe me. 


Ada:(Taps Nnena back still laughing). We believe you oooh. 


Nnena: That you both problem, the truth will prevail itself soon. Please let's change topic and talk something else. 


Chioma. I can't stop laughing, the gods impregnated you. How is that possible? (Laughs out loud). 


Nnena:(Get angry). Please stop laughing and let's talk something else. (Ada and Chioma saw the angry face of Nnena as they stopped laughing. Chioma brought up a new topic as they discuss about it. Light Fades).
