Cyan looked on with no expression on her face however, anyone with good observing skills would notice the wicked gleam in her eyes.
Dherek moved closer to her. "You were quite savage back there." He said quietly to make sure that nobody hears him but still, Cyan could hear the excitement and happiness in his voice.
Cyan gave him no response so he continued, "Can't wait for the day they'll find out that you were the girl they tried to kill." He said in an eerie manner. Cyan just looked at him and said nothing.
"So, what are we doing next? What is the next plan?" He asked her.
"I have not even started planning and yet, they are already putting themselves in trouble's way. What then will happen if I make plans and decide to strike fully?" An evil smirk played on her lips. The very type that sends chills down one's spine. It did with Dherek and he actually felt sorry for both Rita and Richard.
They do not know what is going to hit them!
"You know what? We will help them. That is what we came here to do right? I will help them. I will so really help them" She said. 'I will help them to lose every thing they have. Every single thing! You will have absolutely nothing left.' She finished in her mind.
"Is it just me or has King Nixon been staring at you since we got here?" Dherek whispered to Cyan after taking a glance at King Nixon. He noticed how King Nixon had been looking at her since.
Cyan looked over at where King Nixon was standing. She saw him still looking at her. When their eyes met, he gave out a smirk at her. Her heart started beating faster than usual and she wondered why. The last time she felt like this was years ago, and that was when she was still in love with that scumbag, Richard.
She quickly looked away. She cleared her throat. "That is none of your business." She said a little shakily as she tried to get her racing heart under control.
"Do you know him? As in, King Nixon? Do you both know each other." He asked her curiously.
"Why do you ask?" She retorted in a manner that bids no more questioning. However, Dherek did not seem to get that as he continued with his questions.
"I mean, see the way he is looking at you. He is even looking at you in the first place. Everybody knows that he does not pay attention to anyone except himself or if he needs something from the particular person that he is paying attention to." He said meaningfully. He even placed his hand under his chin and rubbed his index finger on it.
"So what are you trying to insinuate?" She asked him while squinting her eyes at him as she knew where he was getting at with his words.
"Maybe, maybe he wants something from you." He said. "Something like what?" She asked again as if to dare him to say whatever he is going to say. "Well, he is not married, and the way he is looking at you for that long, it definitely is something. Let's not forget about the way you reacted when he smiled at you. Your shaking voice, hands, your face... hmm hmm hmm, General, we both know what's going on." He said at the same time smiling mischievously and he winked at her.
Cyan's face burned in embarrassment and she aggressively hit him on his shoulder, continuously.
"Ouch, ouch, General. Your hands hurt so bad." He grabbed her hands to stop her from hitting him. She became and looked even more angry. "You dare hold my hand?" He looked down and saw that he was holding her hand. His eyes widened and he quickly dropped her hands, "I am so sorry, General. Forgive me."
She glared at him and said, "Try me by saying such non-sense words again, then you will see how angry I can get even at you." She huffed and looked away.
Dherek smiled at the way she had responded. It has been so long since she gave out such actions. She even blushed. He was sure it was all because of King Nixon. 'Will she open her heart to someone again?' He thought.
Meanwhile,
The same way King Nixon was looking at Cyan, Richard, Rita and Livius were also looking at her. More of glaring at her, Livius excluded.
"Why did you not tell us that the person you were requesting help from was a woman. We would have prepared ourselves." Richard said angrily at Livius.
Rita frowned at the tone in which Richard spoke to Livius with. "Do not speak to him in that manner." She scolded him. She then turned to Livius. "It's okay. It really is not your fault." She said smiling sweetly at him.
She then sighed. "Is it just me or is does that woman creeps one out?" She asked while her gaze was fixed on Cyan.
"She does not. At least to me. She just seems mysterious. I mean, nobody really knows about her. She just seem to start existing and...achieved a lot. As a woman. I personally admire her." He said honestly. A small smile threatening to break out on his face.
Rita's face darkened with anger and her fist tightly clenched. She looked at Livius and looked back at Cyan who was at this time also looking at her. Cyan raised an eyebrow at her with a small smirk creeping on her lips.
Rita felt scared on seeing the smirk on her face. 'Something about this woman really scares me. And she looks...oddly familiar.' She thought to herself. "I am sure this woman is more than who she seems to be. Something about her really...ugh!" She groaned out in frustration at what she was feeling.
"Who is this woman exactly?" She muttered. She looked at Cyan who was no longer smirking but now had no expression on her face.
At that moment, she noticed Dherek who was behind Cyan and he was looking at her with a disgusted face. 'Why is he looking at me like that?' She thought to herself, shocked at the way he was glaring at her.
"We should go to speak with General Cyan. After all, we invited her." Livius said to them. They then proceed to walk towards her.
