World of power

'Wow so fast. She must be really powerful.' Rein looked at his mother with a newfound admiration. He put his arms up wanting to be picked up. She granted his wish and brought him back to the room.

A year and a half have passed, I can now walk and slightly make sense. Most of my time has been split between reading story books and doing exercises, recommended by my crazy twin siblings. Kiero enjoys running around with me, playing tag and Kayma takes satisfaction from competitive video games. We are resigned to playing games like bomb buster and toppled tower hero. Collen often joins our games of tag.

I spent time with Callie by listening to her read, her voice is like a soft melody. She read me things mainly to do with different animals of the world, while sometimes she told me about different natural disasters. Such as graviquakes, mana surges, earth explosions and oxygen fissures.

These types of natural disasters came from an overabundance of different energies gathered and attracting. She said these are many creatures in the world that can cause these disasters, they are called magi-animals. They are creatures that are strengthened with beast cores. She said the humans were also able to create cores after going through an energy aura focus.

After another year passed, I am finally fully mobile again, so I started spending time strengthening my body with exercises my dad taught me. He had me do intense daily training routine which began with a 20-yard run, then 20 push-ups, sit-up in a gravity chamber. Then a submerging in frost energy, mana bath and light energy. They were used to increase my frost and light affinity. My father did this with all my siblings. He only used two elements each year to strengthen each of us.

all my other siblings had finished this part of their training. The last part of my father's training is 10 punches with 25-pound gauntlets, 10 swings with a 25-pound sword, 10 shots from a bow with 25-pounds of tension, and 20 swings with a 25-pound metal staff.

Then came my mental training I have to study two holographs on fighting styles from the archive room and the archive room had over 1000. The next part of my mental training was to endure 10 minutes of weak pain runes. They caused a stabbing sensation to throughout my whole body it was unbearable the first session but after the third I could finally stop screaming and grit my teeth through it. The last part was 2 hours of daily meditation in a sensory deprivation chamber and sensory activation chamber. The former blocked all my senses while the latter activated them, it took a while to get used to having all my senses constantly active.

This was agony to go through, and it was only daily training. After every training session my mother had delicious food waiting for me and the rest of my siblings. I ate my food fast like all my siblings because we had little time to rest. The dining room had a large, beautiful circle table, it followed the same look as the other decorations around the house. It was a white flower which grew from the ground to create a table with its giant and many over lapping white leaves. The seats were made of white wood and three hard golden leaves creating the back and seat.

It had There was always an empty seat next to my eldest brother Collen. Yet no one ever talked about it. My mother sometimes glanced at it with a longing gaze.

four years went by, and I was seven years old, only a year older than when I died. I have tripled the amount of exercise I do daily. In my time left after training, I have also begun sparring with each of my siblings. My brother Collen and I spar with different weapons in the gravity chamber. Although I lose most of the time, the training helps relearn my spear skills and strengthen my hand-to-hand combat skills. I managed to break his defense a few times but neither of us was badly injured.

My sister Callie liked to engage in battles of the wit using quizzes, puzzles, and trivia to beat me. Although she was always nice about each victory her skills are unmatched. She and our father Cormaxium would often engage in complex strategy games. They would take days to end, and each was as confusing as the last.

The twins Kiero and Kayma enjoyed throwing all types of elemental attacks at me. They were quite creative in the attacks. The first time we fought they started with frost bolts coming at me from the front and a sphere of fire completely surrounding me. So, I crunched down and exploded the earth below me. Using it to shoot up and through the barrier and dodge the bolts.

I formed platforms in the air to get away and used ice on his skin to keep my body calm and cool as as I ran. It turned into a game of tag as I tried get away. Kayma used light to boost past me, then created a shower of ice shards down in front of me. While Kiero used a gust of wind to push me forward. I quickly blocked it with an earth barrier then used a weak lightning bolt to break the elemental circle (It's how humans use mana to control and focus the elemental energy in the area.)

It is my turn; I used a lightning circle on my body to boost downwards, then slammed down and as I was about to boost of the ground. Stone hands grabbed my feet and brought me crashing forward. I tried to get up but was stopped and being pulled down by silver chained breaking out from the ground.

"Well little brother it was a great try but your gonna have to become way stronger, to beat my earth control." Kayma said from above me.

"This is your first-time playing tag you'll get better." Keiro said as the chains dispersed. "Next time I'm gonna get farther." I said with new determination to do better.

A few days past and I was lasting longer in each of my sparring sessions. I now believed my skills to be strong enough for the magi-beasts, so I wanted to go outside. I asked my dad to go with me for the first time and he easily agreed.
