Cough* Cough* Cough*
Huh huff* huh huff* huh huff*
"Good girl, you ain't die." Ol Mur said with a mocking tone. Then he pulled the dirt from my body. It gave my goose bumps as it spread through my skin. It left a cold sensation as it was pulled from my pores.
A large Slab of warm ribs dropped in front of me. it was in a bigger wooden bowl. It had a tantalizing aroma and glistened with a blue color.
"Eat this." Ol Mur said while looking at the food.
I didn't hesitate to start chowing down on the ribs, it was super tender. it took me only two ribs to satiate my hunger. And yet I continued eating four more ribs. Then I was stopped it felt as if all my body was heavy.
"You can have the rest after you run 100 more laps around the hut." Ol Mur said with a menacing grin. I went outside and started the first 40 laps went without a sweat. As I made the 50th lap, bars of dark blue dirt started to poke out of the hut in front of me.
I crashed into the first one that appeared. I quickly got up and started running again another appeared when a got to a good speed. This one hit my legs causing my face to crash into ground and start rolling. I quickly got up and started running again. I finished another five laps while being tripped up by bars. At 60th I was starting to get the hang of dodging the bars, and I was able to go faster. Then they started to increase in number. I had to run up some bars like hills. I ran up some and slid under others.
I crossed the 75th lap and immediately after I ran into a pole that shot up from the ground. It left me with a bloody nose, but I kept going Now I had to dodge poles from the side and from the ground. I moved left and right, or up and down and yet I was still unable to dodge all of them. The pain hurt but the thought of that painful hunger hurt more. I went faster and faster until I finished the 90th lap. Pain was surging through my body along with exhaustion. The heat from the rays of the sun high up in the sky, were blaring down on him.
I stopped to take a breather, but three of the poles instantly berated me with hits. They stopped as soon as I began to move again. I dragged my tired body around the hut, while trying to dodge poles that hit me if I was too slow.
"You will not stop me!" I roared up into the sky and went as fast as my legs could carry me. Just as the sun started to go down, I finished the finale lap and walked into the hut panting. Waiting there was Ol Mur.
"You hold great determination, brat. Have some grub." He said and slid the bowl from before with even more meat ribs in it. I ate ravenously with an insatiable appetite. Before I could finish the second cut of ribs. The bowl was taken from me.
"Your gon to swim again. This time stay above water fur 30 seconds." Ol Mur told me with a devilish smile. Before I could even turn to run, he picked me up again and brought me above the large tub of dark blue dirt.
"Please no. I don't want to go back in, sir." I begged remembering the last horrific experience.
"Don't worry, girly." Then he dropped me in. I kicked and kicked to keep myself afloat but a kept gulping down dirt water I tried to breathe. It actually helped soothe the parchment left by the sun.
While bobbing up and down trying to breath, my only thought was getting out of this tub.
'I don't want to die. I don't want to die.' I kept repeating the though hoping it would allow me to live until I was rescued again. after what felt like ages passed, I was submerged every now and then but controlling and kicking soon enough Ol Mur pulled me out.
pulled out by Ol Mur. I didn't go unconscious this time, but I continued to cough up the dirt. The world was blurry but as I rubbed my eye I started to see better.
"What is this cruel dirt called, sir." If I could learn its name maybe it will feel safer.
"Hmm, it's called water. Drink it and you will feel better. It will rejuvenate and cleanse your body." He said with a smile on his face. The evil creatures in the prison, forced me to drink a white version of this water. They called it Larma milk.
I drank the water then went to bed.

days passed by all the same swimming and running, then swimming again. The food and water I got greatly helped fuel my energy. The tasks gained pressure and difficulty. Running around the hut became running and dodging the poles that sought to break my body and spirit. The swimming was moved to a nearby pond surrounded by trees with green bark and beautiful blue leaves that gleamed with a light blue light. In the middle was a bottomless pit of water that had a mystic glow to it.
Ol Mur called this the sinking pond. After I did another 200 laps, he carried me over to the pond on his back. It is a long walk to find this pond, but I didn't have to do any walking, until he tossed me forward in front of the pond.
I looked into the pond, and it felt as if the water was looking back at me. Another me appeared in the water. She had a glow around her, and I could see her silky and beautiful snow-white hair. her legs were strong her back was straight. Her eyes were adorned with glimmering ocean blue irises with a fiery white ring around them.
A white shadow appeared in the reflection next to her. I turned to look and saw nothing. I turned back to look at Ol Mur who had come almost right behind me. He had a large smile as he used his paw to throw me into the water.
No splash, no ripple my body was just dragged down deeper and deeper into the water. Every pull on my body was accompanied by a loud chime. The water itself was tugging me down. I tried to swim up, but every attempt was met with a stronger pull. The surface of the water began to fade away and yet the water was still bright.
after some time passed and I couldn't see the surface anymore I couldn't hold my breath anymore, so I let out a breath and the water invaded my lungs. I felt it going from my lungs into my blood and spreading throughout my body. It wiggled into my skin through every pore, then an immense pain shot through my mind. It was like a hammer, pounding on my mind.
I closed my eyes ready to embrace my death. then I felt the air on my face I took in a breath and no water entered my lungs. I opened my eyes to see Ol Mur's face. I thought I was deep under the water. I swam toward the edge of the pond, and Ol Mur pulled me out.
As he did a felt an energy wash over me empowering every one of my blood cells. My fur was glistening blue, and I felt more energy than ever before.
"Great job, ya passed the pond's test." He said with a wide grin.
"Now ya ready for your assignment."
